From its very beginning in 1935, Trotters has been dedicated to creating high-quality women's footwear with appealing looks and exceptional comfort. The unique comfort of Trotters begins with a careful choice of materials: the softest leathers, high-tech cushioning, and flexible soles. And unlike many companies, Trotter's develops a separate last (the form around which the leather is shaped) for each size and width. So every pair feels like it was made just for you. With over 60 different sizes to choose from in most shoes, Trotter's promises you the largest selection of sizes and widths for even the hardest to fit foot. From work to the weekend and everything in between, Trotters brings you exceptional quality and comfort in every pair of shoes designed.

Great For Wide Wide feet
I own several pairs of this Gabby in size 8 and 8 1/2E (WW width). The 8 1/2 E in tan I just received seemed to be just a hair shorter (barely, not enough to say they ran somewhat small) than the current same size, same color I've been wearing frequently. Also the footbed was firmer than I remember the other pair being before walking around in them. My feet are sensitive, so I returned them. I also own the light pink Gabby's in size 8E. I originally got my Gabby's through another retailer about 5 mos ago. Each shoe in different colors (size 8 or 8 1/2 E) fit me different - mainly the toe area being a bit too shy in space to spread my toes and the foot bed not feeling quite right for my particular feet. The width for my wide feet is fine, though.

Great shoe - a little noisy when walking
Bought these shoes for house slippers primarily. They have good support for my feet, very comfortable, and look as if they will be sturdy enough to last a long time. The only thing I have noticed - which isn't a problem for my purposes, is that the shoes make a loud sucking or squishing noise when I walk. Perhaps it is simply the way they fit my feet - but might be a problem if wearing in public. Otherwise, I would recommend them for anyone looking for comfort and quality materials.

Not Bad but Not Softwalk
These shoes are fine for the price. I wear an 8.5N and the straps of the shoes adjust so the fit is good. Oddly my left instep sticks to the shoe and makes a sucking noise when I walk. The bottoms are very rubbery but not really cushioned.

Strange Fit
The heal cup was very narrow. I usually wear a 11B but this heel cup was narrow and didn't hold my heel in place. The shoe was also a little short! My toes almost fit over the end. Usually don't have any problems with most 11's. I will be returning these.

I love them.
I have problem feet and having long toes is one of my issues. I own six pair of the Trotter brand sandals and I love them all. They are very comfortable and give nice arch support and I have plenty of room for my toes at the top.
