After trying just about everything under the sun to remove headlight glaze (the the headlights on my wife's care were yellow... and I mean YELLOW), this product worked in ways I didn't imagine.It comes with everything that you need; 3 different grits of sandpaper, with multiple pieces, two new clearcoat packs, and even a glove to keep you from touching the clearcoat. Added bonus; came with enough tape to tape around the headlights to keep from scratching the paint.Overall, it took about 30-40 minutes. Start off dry-sanding with the "Yellow" discs (I used a battery powered drill), and a brief minute of "Hoo-boy" as I watched the headlights get very clouded from the sanding. Then, the white discs, and I watched the previous sand marks start to disappear. Finally, the "blue" disc, with a squirt bottle to wet sand, and I watched the headlights go clear as glass.A quick wipe down with a clean cloth, and apply two coats of the clearcoat (an hour in between coats, that's why you get 2 packets).HOLY SMOKES! These headlights look like NEW. They're clear and amazing, even on a 20+ year old vehicle.Cannot recommend this product enough. It works exactly as described, and will restore even the worst headlights to crystal clear quality!

2014 Ford Focus ST. I tried the famous one without tools and came out ok. I was looking for a kit that had a drill attachment and this fit the bill. I used almost all the p500 first then almost all the p800 disks. Then use wet sand on the p3000 disk. I wish they included more of the p3000 disks. I used 1.5 battery packs on my DeWalt drill using the lowest setting on the drill using all the disks. You do not need to press hard on these disks. Just light to moderate pressure like the instructions say. I only received one glove in my kit but otherwise it's a great kit. The clear coat is said to last about 2 years. I say that's a realistic and truthful assessment of their product. As you see in the pictures it doesn't remove all the micro cracks but it did smooth out the major scratches I had.

Reemplace la lija dorada si es necesario.4. Limpie cada la lampara con paño seco. Debe quedar con apariencia brumosa pero uniforme.5. Ahora use la lija 800 de un lado a otro para refinar el lijado que hizo con la lija 500. Reemplace la lija blanca si es necesario.6. Limpie la lampara con un paño hasta asegurarse que esté limpia, sin polvo.7. Ahora use la lija 3000. Humedezca el faro y la lija 3000 con agua usando un aspersor y entonces haga un lijado húmedo, de arriba-abajo.8. Limpie residuos de la superficie pulverizando agua en el faro y seque con paño seco.Al final del proceso de lijado los faros se ven lisos pero aún algo brumosos.Una vez que se haya completado el lijado, aplique el producto 3M Quick. Para ello, saque la toallita del paquete pero no la despliegue.Aplique lentamente el recubrimiento utilizando el borde de la toallita y haga pasadas superpuestas en sentido horizontal, de izquierda a derecha.Aplique la primera capa a ambos faros y deje secar por 5-10 minutosAhora aplique la segunda capa a ambos faros y permita 1 hora de secado

Worked well for me on a lens i've restored twice before with Sylania kit. The Sylvania restoration lasts about 2-3 years then starts clouding again. I liked the drill based sanding a LOT better than the hand based sanding, but despite 2 layers of tape did manage to cut through and put a small mark in the paint on my bumper so next time 3-4 layers of tape. Not a major issue for me. This kit was good value, fast and efficient. I like that it is possible to buy additional wipes and an additional 3000 grit pad in the "Quick & Easy Headlight Restoration" kit for just $7.I only restored one (large GMC Sierra Denali) headlight because the other side had been replaced with a new lens several years into owning the vehicle. It still looks pretty good. I'll probably restore both sides next time but once it's done, you have to keep doing it every 2-3 years so I'm not doing that side until I really need to. I wiped that side with the wipes though...maybe it will help protect longer having another coat. Or maybe it will destroy it and I'll have to do the full restoration. No matter, this kit looks like enough to do both sides, other than the wipes and possibly the 3000 grit single pad.-1 star for lack of a 2nd glove, lack of a 2nd 3000 grit pad. And it would be nice to be able to buy just the UV Clearcoat packets alone at low cost. But these kits are cost effective and seem to work.Overall satisfied and now I'll just wait to see how long it takes until I have to do it again. Sylvania kit lasted 2-3 years. This say on the box it lasts "up to 2 years" so maybe next time I'll sand with the 3M kit, but buy a bottle of the sylvania clear coat and do that if it lasts better. We'll see.
