Great heater for the price. Would be better with a wider tripod but I ordered tripod weights to fix the problem. Also had small issue with my order and the seller took care of it right away. Heat output is instant and it adds a nice glow to the backyard. Overall would recommend

The heating element is surrounded by glass, which arrived broken. The tripod is also not wide enough and will topple over without weights attached to it. I didn’t open the box until after the return period ended, so I’m stuck with it. Bummer, because I was looking forward to using this on my patio this winter.UPDATE: the seller was kind enough to issue me a refund, so stars for customer service!!

It was okay, sort of...got it so friends and I could socialize on my screened porch during the pandemic. It provided some heat, not a lot but enough to take the edge off if it wasn’t too cold out, with no wind, combined with piles of blankets. I used it maybe 15 times before it stopped working. Not a very good lifespan for something rather pricey. Don’t know how to return it as it would have to be taken apart and I don’t have the box now. Yeah, I’m angry about it. WANT A REFUND. Hahaha...

The value is excellent for the $99.00 price! Not sure why similar heaters cost $250! I would not want to have to replace the glass heating element should it break so I'm very careful and have kept the packing materials for putting it way in the summer.

This unit emits heat, but it's a little top heavy and I'm afraid to leave it unattended anywhere outside in the wind. I wish I would've gone with the propane ones.

Works well. Remote stopped working! Cannot purchase replacement remote! Too bad.

The heater does put out a good amount of heat and helped me extend my time on my deck this fall. But the directions were confusing and the pictures of the parts not all that telling so putting the thing together was a pain.

Instructions are vague illustrations that while look easy don’t define the proper installation of the brackets. The cap on the stand needs to be removed, no mention, and the holes in the bracket and the stand are off slightly but enough to screw it up. The illustrations show a different neck on the stand than the one we received.The product works well when we turned it on that’s the best thing I can say about this. I regret buying it and wish I could get my money back.
