Coldest Standard Size Mouth Hydro Sports Straw Cap Flip Top Lid - Multi-Compatible with Standard Flask Mouth Size Stainless Steel Water Bottles 1.0

I purchased 3 of these to fit on our Simple Modern Ascent 24 oz. Water Bottles. They fit perfectly with a tiny bit of trimming to the straw length.Initially one of them (haven't checked the other two yet) was leaking from the vent hole thingy. I don't know what to call this, but the part that lets air vent while you are drinking. It leaked both while the sip top was open and while it was closed. I was getting pretty irritated and about to start Hulk-smashing things, but then I barely nudged the little white piece that is supposed to seal/allow venting, and it fell off into my bottle. I fished it out of my ice water, and put it back where it belongs. (Trying to find this tiny white thing among the pellets of ice was like trying to find Waldo at a Waldo Convention held among circus tents.) This lid works perfectly now. I must have nudged it slightly out of position when I washed the lid upon receipt the night before. It looked like it was in place, but it wasn't fully seated.I have not yet tried to use the lid without the straw attached, but with everything fully sealed (straw and vent hole thingy), this lid works beautifully. It doesn't even leak with the sip top flipped open unless you shake it pretty hard or hold it upside down (Why would you do that? I know I can only know this because I did do it, but now you can just take my word for it and not do it.)Thank you TheColdestWater for making a lid that fits so many bottles and works so well!

Even though I had to go out of my way to get a replacement, this product and company still deserves 5 stars.Initially I had ordered one for my Hydro Flask and it worked perfectly. No leaking, so no problem. I then proceeded to purchase another one for my second Hydro Flask and this one definitely was broken or had some sort of manufacturer defect, because it leaked.Totally cool that I didn't work. I figured I would just get it replaced. I decided to be resourceful, bypassed Amazon with all their return shenanigans, and directly contacted the company that was directly selling. I sent an email inquiry on their website in the AM, and by the time I checked my email again in the PM the Founder had personally reached out with minutes and told me he would replace the defected lid AND send me a second one just in case. Doesn't stop there, he also sent me replacement straws for both kids as well. Told me could keep the lid and straws I had already, or toss'em. He didn't have to do that, but that is some awesome customer service!With this experience in mind, I would definitely recommend this product and even purchase from this company again. Kudos to you all at The Coldest Water, and thank you again for reaching above and beyond to make my purchase experience great. Talk about satisfaction guaranteed. Cheers!

I don't like drinking water straight out of a glass or bottle due to sensitivity issues so I ordered this lid to go with my Hydro Flask and it is perfect. I did have an issue with the lid making a high pitched sound when I was drinking out of it and bringing air into the straw after having the lid for a couple of days. I emailed costumer service with the Coldest Water, got a response the same day, and they shipped me two replacements the next day. I've tested the new lid and so far no air is coming in with the water. There is still a high pitched whistle sound but it's way quieter than when there was air coming in as well. Also, there was an insert with the lids that says to unscrew the lid a little bit if the sound bothers you. The noise doesn't bother me enough to screw and unscrew the lid every time I take a sip, but just know that if the noise does bother you, they have a solution for it and say that it is the pressure in the bottle that causes the sound. Hopefully this lid will fare better than the previous one in not bringing in a lot of air with each sip. If it doesn't, I'll update this review.

I bought this cap for my 24 oz hydroflask standard mouth. The cap fits great and is super sturdy. It is far superior to anything hydroflask is currently marketing as a sports cap. Some people have said they don't like that the straw is to short for the 24 oz, however, it is marketed for the 21 oz so I knew the straw would be a little short and it doesn't bother me. (You can just tilt the bottle while you drink to get the last few ounces)However, when I received my cap, it worked for the first 24 hours and then something shifted in the lid and now the only way I can get water is if I hold the flip top open with my finger while I drink. Otherwise, it is like I am just sucking air. I hope this is just a defect with my straw because I really love the product and my hydroflask.I contacted the company and they are sending me a replacement cap free, no questions asked. The company has amazing customer service, I just hope the product lives up to my expectations, as it seems like the hydroflask community thinks this is the best sports cap on the market for that bottle currently.I'll still use the straw even if I have to hold it open, because it is only slightly inconvenient and I really do love the cap, however, I would like it to function how it is intended to.I will update this post after I try the new straw.UPDATE:I received my new sports cap 2 days ago. This one is much better than my first defective cap. I can actually drink water out of the straw without having to hold the flip top open. However, I am still a little disappointed in the product. Even though I can drink through the straw, it still feels like I have to suck really hard to get any liquid, and it seems like a lot of air still gets into the straw, it also makes a slight "slurping" sound, which can not be lessened by unscrewing the lid a little, which the company says should work.I definitely like the product. It is convenient, easy to use, better than any other sport cap for the hydroflask, and the customer service of the company is fabulous. It just definitely doesn't feel like you're drinking out of a regular straw with this cap, but I really do enjoy it and see myself using the cap with my 24 oz hydroflask for a long time.

Was quite expensive, given the price already spent on the flask, but it works really well. I had to trim about an inch off the bottom of the straw to get it to fit. I have a 21oz Hydro Flask - with Standard Mouth size, so I can confirm it is compatible.

Strong and robust, easy to use.The Hydro Straw cap is perfect!!I've now changed all the caps on my "other brand" bottles to Coldest Water and also started to purchase Coldest Water bottle as replacements.The 2 liter and 1 Gallon bottles with wide mouth and perfect for brining stews to work for lunch and dinner.Best move I made was to change to Coldest Water!

Super Teil für meine Trinkflasche. Habe lange danach gesucht!

So far so good. Have seen other reviews that it makes a loud noise. The one I have doesn't. Other reviews said they go wonky after a couple of months... guess only time will tell. The price is high though.
