Dummies Style Written By A Songwriter Who Knows What He's Doing
It's written in that funny-yet-intelligent Dummies style, by a co-writer of one of the giant classics of music, Eye Of The Tiger, Jim Peterik. Doesn't get much better than that.

Cool Book
Offered nice advice, thought provoking activities. Although, a lot of the information was common sense even for the most beginner writer; thought it should be a little shorter.

It is teaching me a lot. A good way for a "side approach."
I have been writing songs in and out for 30 years. More than once I have ran out of inspiration or got blocked.Ever since the first few chapters, this manual gave me a few hints that helped me overcome a block or a stall. A very few simple words, qhih someone might have not considered at all, but a great help.

So Easy to Read!
I am enjoying this so far! It’s easy to read and to understand and it’s motivating as hell! I’ve been a writer my whole life and am exploring different avenues in writing and songwriting really does a great job and fulfilling an emotional side that is deep and moving. It’s very therapeutic!

This book explained many areas of creating music, and what to expect as time goes along.
I did not dislike anything. Actually, I have gone through this process and wrote music, and delivered music way back in 1968, with actually what this book mentions. I think any new person should read this book before diving into becoming a song writer.
