Device Died After 10 Seconds. Also overheated when charging
I had been looking forward to this device for several weeks after seeing the videos on youtube. So when i saw this on amazon with a reasonable price i jumped on it. But unfortunately it died after 10 Seconds. I tried to hard boot it several times with no luck. You would think that they would test them for Quality Assurance. Also overheated when charging. Going to buy an RG350M instead.

RK2020 Great Handheld but room for improvement
Pros:- Boots up fast- Variety of games from different systems pre-installed- IPS screen is vivid- Buttons respond well.Cons:- No physical volume button. Have to turn down volume with down arrow and "B" buttons.- Saving save state/load files I had to figure out on my own by pressing certain buttons.- Heats up when charging- Battery life doesn't last too long- Brightness reverts back to 100% when you turn it on and off

It’s ok if you’re willing to fix some QA issues
Device is not bad, however, I had to fix an issue with the reset button, the dpad, and remove some specs of dust from under the tempered glass, and update the uboot spi flash so the unit can be charged while off. Once I did these fixes, the system has been a joy. Definitely not for someone who just wants a device they can quickly purchase and start playing without issue. I also decided to load Retro Arena firmware for this which gives some better performance and button mapping for this device as well. Just do a search for retro game handhelds discord and go to to the rk2020 channelfor more details and assistance.

Could’ve bought same device with USA software for cheaper....
This is a cool emulator device, with the potential to be a really awesome device out of the box.... HOWEVER, it comes out of the box with software that was made for another device and 80% of the software is spoken, captioned and subtitled in Japanese with no other option. If it were Japanese versions with translation subs, that would be ok. But no such luck. I’m figuring out how to add different firmware so I can put my own roms on it. I also found out that this device is available WITH a better firmware and USA formatted games for only $65 elsewhere. I paid $100 with the same promise from this seller. Lesson learned. Do NOT buy this if you want something you can expect to play out of the box.

Shoddy design kills this device out of the box
I purchased the RK2020 because of good reviews I saw on youtube. Clearly they made some alterations to their design since they sent out their review copies. The unit contains a battery that's attached to the back lid of the device with a strip of two sided tape. THERE IS NO DIVIDER BETWEEN THE BATTERY AND THE CIRUCUIT BOARD>As a result, the battery is passing current through the side of the pack directly into the circuit board itself, causing short circuits and ultimately killing the board or screen shortly after it's turned on. This happened on both devices I received. DO NOT BUY. THE DESIGN HAS A FUNDAMENTAL FLAW THAT BRICKS IT.

Almost perfect...
I haven't experienced this much join in a long time. To be able to relive so many fond gaming memories in the palm of my hand. Not going to lie, I got a little misty-eyed. It played most games I threw at it with easy minus a few PSP games. And Everything was going great until it fell out of my chair (about 14" from the ground tops) and it simply never turned on again. I'm a bit heartbroken by this. There are absolutely no physical signs of damage. Something internally must have shorted somehow since there is a lot of spacing inside. I took it apart gently to see if anything came loose and it hadn't. So I am at a loss and without my little system again :( I feel that a tiny drop like this should not be able to kill a system like this. Especially for the $100 I paid. Well worth the money otherwise.

Bad battery
Rattles a little bit and feels a bit cheap. Worst part was the battery wouldn’t charge on mine so I only got to use it for about 30 minutes.
