Profile Designs RMC Carbon Fiber Rear Mount with Cages

Meets expectations, looks good as well. The only issue was that the instructions were not that helpful, but was able to work it out!

I've had it for a few months now, works great! I rode from NYC to Annapolis MD on a challenge ride and wanted to carry extra water bottles. I've never lost any water bottles, it has extra storage for two tubed and maybe a multi tool, depending on which one you own. I had Co2 mounted below it, but they bounced out on the bumpy roads. I wish they included a way to mount Co2 on it and it would be perfect!

I found it a bit difficult to attach to my tri bike and get all of the bolts tight. I had originally bought it for carrying an extra bike tire and inflator, but once I got the tire in there was little room left.

Fits well and great product profile design.

There are two good sized scratches and some of the paint is already comig of. I also think that there may be a crack near one of the bolts. I have been a long and happy Amazon customer and this is the first item to disappoint me.

Every time I ride on a gravelly road, I have a bottle dislodge and fall onto the road, especially if the bottle is only partially full. I plan on changing out the cages to see if it helps.

I was going back and forth between the Profile and the Xlab setups. Glad I went with The Profile RMC. Excellent design (perfect fit with Profile Tri Saddle). I use my Blue AC1 for both triathlons and road riding. For the road, I drop the bottle cages and use it as storage. The RMC has enough space to stow tube, CO2, levers, multitool inside (included straps hold everything down). No need for a saddle bag. For longer rides, a seat bag attaches below the RMC with ease for even more storage. On race day, I move my bottle cages from my frame to the RMC, install saddle bag underneath, slap on my Profile CGT's and am ready to race.The Profile RMC is Easy to install, but I do strongly recommend reading the instructions and using the recommended torque specification. I can see where the carbon ears will crack if overtightened.Pay attention when ordering through Amazon. There are two separate listings for the Profile RMC. One has straps and bottle cages included, while the other does not include straps or bottles. If you want white, the listing with the bottle cages and straps is actually cheaper (at least it was when I ordered mine).Hope this helps.
