Tried to cancel order, Very happy I didn't.
I have a lot of backpacks. Too many, if I'm honest, which is why I tried to cancel this order before it arrived. It had already shipped, so I couldn't cancel, and I'm glad I got it because it's quite literally the perfect backpack.I needed it to carry my large iPad and full size mechanical keyboard in a case, and yes, it's exactly tall enough to fit the keyboard, which is too tall for other minimalist backpacks.I love the side zipper storage in the front, and the large inside pocket holds my other EDC items like headphones, water bottle, lotion, chargers, etc.The bright fabric inside makes a nice contrast with the stuff that's in there so I can actually find things, the main closure is satisfyingly secure, and it's the perfect size overall. The overall construction is sturdy without being overly heavy or bulky, the pockets are well-planned, and the shoulder straps are comfortable.I might buy a spare for the dim day in the far future when this one gives out because it's the only one I'll be using.

Love this bag.
Amazing backpack especially considering the price and quality. Love the organization features and capacity. The neon interior makes it easier to find items. While it has a good capacity, it is also lightweight and can be packed pretty flat.My last Timbuk2 backpack was my daily driver for 6+ years, I hope this lasts as long.

It's a pretty nice commuting backpack
I bought this to replace a Timbuk2 Rogue backpack I've used for 8 years. It was the closest to an exact replacement, and overall I'm fairly pleased with it.I really like the bright interior color - it makes it easy to find things inside. The organization is pretty good overall. I feel like the laptop zipper on the side was poorly planned, though. My work laptop is very compact, and I still struggle to get it through the side zipper. I generally just put it in/out through the top.So far I haven't used this through any serious rain, and I don't expect it to stand up to that, but my stuff doesn't get wet in passing showers. The bottle pocket on the side will fit a mini U lock while you ride, and most bottles when you're off the bike. A larger U lock can also fit in the webbing on the back, so they did a good job planning for that.I would recommend this if you need a medium sized backpack for commuting or traveling with a laptop.

Great pack!
Not a ton of organization pockets, but a really well made bag. I use it for a dedicated work bag, roomy main pocket with some nice features. If you want something with a lot of smaller pockets to organize things, this may not be for you, but if you are looking for an extremely well made bag that is relatively simple in features and offers some amount of rain protection for what is inside it is a really great bag!

Like the design, quality is OK
This has been one of my favorite commuter backpacks. It's roomy and the side zipper helps pack things efficiently. After about a year of commuting use, one of the plastic pieces on the main enclosure broke. A few months later the second one broke. I'm not comfortable relying on just Velcro to keep it secure. My commute is a combination of walking and subway, sometimes in unpleasant weather, so it's tough on gear. But based on my experience with other timbuk2 products, I expected it to last longer.

Good commuter bag.
Im happy with this bag. I bought it to carry my work laptop to and from the office. I wouldn’t call it a huge bag. It holds my 14 inch laptop comfortably. If you load the laptop from the top it’s easy. There is a side pocket for “easier access to the laptop.” It is sometimes a little bit of wrestling match to get the laptop out this way. I guess that’s good because I’d you forgot to zip it, it wouldn’t fall out on its own. The organization in the lower pocket is fairly useful. It’s not too much. I wish the bottom pocket was double zippered. I’m a fan of the “Molle” on the bottom pocket. After the laptop it can hold a decent sized binder without feeling like it’s overloaded.Overall I’m happy with it. I plan on adding a safety glasses holder to the molle part.

Timbuk2 is always my go to
I’ve always liked the quality of Timbuk 2 and had a similar bag for at least 10 years and it finally gave out, so was looking for the same one but came up with this model instead. I like that they added the sternum strap and it wasn’t the messenger style that I like for my older one, but it still carries the same amount of stuff. !

Sleek and Simple Backpack
I really love the look of this backpack. For someone trying to get ready for the professional world, this definitely fits into that category. The only thing I wish that was different was the water bottle holder/pocket. It can fit a 21oz. bottle but anything bigger than that might not fit. I have a 32oz HydroFlask and that sometimes has a hard time fitting into the pocket. Other than that, this backpack meets all my needs.
