Great Product
The NOCO Boost Plus GB40 is an incredibly handy tool. I love how compact it is—and most importantly, it works! We used it on a dead battery, and it started the car quickly with no issues. Its small size makes it easy to store, and it’s very user-friendly, even if you’re not mechanically inclined. The built-in flashlight is a great bonus, and it can even charge your phone in a pinch. It’s one of those things you hope you never need, but you’ll be so glad to have when you do. Highly recommend for every vehicle!

Works instantly everytime!
This is the first jump starter I ever owned and it has saved me from having to deal with headaches every time I have used it. I was having intermittent alternator issues on a V6 dodge and my battery die every now and then. This started it up right away on the boost mode and even gave the battery enough charge for me to get where I needed to go (short distances). The charging speed could be better but that's really a non issue. The design is compact and feels well made. Highly recommend

Highly recommend this! It’s easy to use and dummy proof
Ok everyone who owns a car should own this. This jumper is AMAZING. I am not a car person at all. I’ve never jump start a car before despite having multiple dead car batteries. This product is seriously dummy proof. My only complaint was that I had to come back to the product page on Amazon to find out how to work it since the instructions wasn’t in the box. Other that it was extremely easy and works! You just have to add the clips to the battery (red +, black -), power on the jumper, then turn the car on. Thats it! Highly recommend! It took about 15 minutes to fully charge the jumper before using. And the jumper is so small that it can easily be stored in your car!

One of my best purchases from Amazon
This thing is amazing. I can't believe I hesitated to buy this product. Here is my story:This past Sunday I woke up to my 2014 BMW X5's flat battery. There was a cold snap and within a couple of days my battery was dead. The last time it was functional was Friday night. I called my auto shop on Monday and due to pretty much everyone in the area having dead batteries due to the cold snap, I couldn't get an appointment for a week. I didn't know if I should jump it, or call roadside assistance and drive it around to make sure the battery was fine before next Monday. Instead, I took a chance on this wonderful device. It came yesterday and I was already impressed with just the packaging. It's minimal, sturdy, and accurate. Straight to the point packaging. I opened it up, and started charging the remaining battery. Apparently, it comes 75% charged and you have to do the rest. I used a USB-C cable from my computer and charged it full within minutes.By the way, the USB slots on this device are USB-C. I've seen a few reviews say that it's MicroUSB. The one I purchased is USB-C which was another plus since you can use this to charge your phone.Fast forward to this morning. I let my car sit for another day, which I thought may have been a mistake. I went down to try to use this device to re-awaken my beast... his name is Benny. Benny the Beemer. Anyway...I attached the positive and negative clamps to the posts under my hood. For most BMW owners, those posts are connected directly to the battery which (in)conveniently is in the trunk behind a electrical trunk latch. BMW did a solid adding these posts under the hood so you didn't have to mess with the trunk release.I turned the device on and the light appeared, but the LED's for Boost weren't "chasing" as the manual says. I figured my battery was completely deceased and I would have to call for RA or a tow. I checked the manual again and I missed the spot called "Manual Override".Now, as a sci-fi geek, this intrigued me greatly. Manual Override you say? Yes, if your car has a completely flat battery, so flat that the device cannot detect that it's even connected to a battery, it will not function within the safety limits. Meaning the device doesn't know it's connected to a battery so it will not provide the 2A charge for safety reasons. That's what the Manual Override button is for. I love it. As soon as I pushed that button, the car came to life. It was like Frankenstein's monster. Everything negative turned positive (NPI).See, the Manual Override sends the 2A charge without verifying it's connected to a battery. This lifts the dead battery to at least 2A so you can try and start the car. The car came to life, the alarm started blaring so I jumped into the drivers seat, said a split second prayer to the car gods, and VROOOM! Benny was alive. This device is amazing. I will be buying one for everyone in my family. Everyone should have this device in their car.If it can bring back my 2.5T 11 year old 3.0L twin turbo beast, it can bring backs yours as well. This device can handle anything up to 6.0L for gas and 3.0L for diesel.Buy this now, especially if you live in colder climates.

Missing cable but works amazing with old one
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is an amazing battery jump pack!!! I loved my first one so much I bought a second one for my other car. I gave it 4-stars because in the second packaging, completely sealed, it was missing the extension cord to charge it in a cigarette lighter port. Other than that, it’s been good to me.

Love it!
Works great! We have used it on two cars and our boat. We don’t leave home (or the dock) without it! It jump starts quickly and reliably. It’s small size makes it easy to take with us.

Light, small and Functional!
Small, light and safe/easy to use.And it works. In one of our cars I have been limping along on a battery (AGM) that I will likely to replace before winter - while detailing it today (myself) I left the doors open for a few hours (I am slow and had intreptions) - when I went to start it, it couldn't quite turn the engine over enough to start. Then I (in minutes) set up the Noco jump starter, turned on the ignition and had the 15-year old BMW purring.Delighted - will travel with it in whichever we hit the road - very convenient.I looked into this type of jump starter once a year for several years - this was the year (2025 - July) that I finally felt the product category was viable (price/performance). Other products may also be effective. In any case, I am delighted with the Noco GB40 jump starter. By the way, I got a great sale price from Amazon!

Everyone should have one
For most people, GB40 is a functionally great balance of size, price, and performance—it’s compact, safe, and versatile, it includes a flashlight! If you regularly jump start vehicle’s , drive larger vehicles, or live in extreme climates, GB70 or GBX45 provide extra capacity and durability, albeit at a higher cost.
