Stanley Utility Water Bottle 24 ounce

The neck is big enough for full sized ice cubes, & the drinking spout is large enough to get good water flow fast. The top has two threaded sections. One to get a drink through & the other to fill the bottle. The only flaw I've found so far is that larger bottle fill cap can be over tightened, making removal a challenge for anyone without a strong grip. I bought this with hopes that it would fit inside my Swiss Volcano set to replace the cork type bottle it comes with. It IS too big to work for that, but is still a good bottle. When I get it outside & try boiling water over a fire I'll update this review.

Cracks to easily at the seam when accidentally dropped. Had better luck with Klean Kanteen surviving my abuse. May be good if you take better care not to drop the bottle. Works with the stove top or open flame for bioling water or soup. BTW don't use this for hot drinks.

This is the best water bottle out there for hiking, camping and all that, by way of it's design and functionality. It would be the best water bottle period IF it fit inside the standard size nesting cups OR if stanley would make a nesting cup specifically for this bottle. So Stanley, if your listening, make us a nesting cup please, keep the price right and you will corner the market. Until then, there are more convenient options. Even though the water bottle in those options are far inferior to this one. Convenient is convenient though and when your tramping around the woods, there's something to be said for convenience.

I was pretty psyched to get this because the reviews I'd read were so positive. The bottle itself is solidly made of quality stainless steel, with a mouth wide enough to fit in several ice cubes at once - no complaints there. The top, though, is problematic. The top-top (English seems to be lacking the proper word here) takes several turns to screw on and off, and the nylon(?) tether that connects it to the top-bottom can get in the way. After a few weeks of use with only water, washing the entire bottle at the end of every day, the top-bottom has developed a manky smell around the seal that persists even after vinegar rinses. All that said, it's an affordable, well-built bottle with two mouth widths and a tether that serves as a convenient carrying loop. I've found it satisfactory, all things considered, but I had hoped for something more.

This is what people will be using in the future, I can almost guarantee it. The single wall design and the "no weld" bottom make it perfect for the fire. the top is completely removable, or open the first lid for an unobstructed swig of water through the spout. This is worth double what they're being sold at(don't tell them). If your looking for a great 32oz. water bottle for on the go or outdoor adventure, look no further you found the best..Oh yeah and with the super wide mouth opening it's a breeze to clean. thanks for reading my review. This feels like a good quality drink bottle, I like the fact you can remove the whole top, much better for cleaning and refilling. Has no lips/rims on the stainless steel part so no soapy residue after the dishwasher.My only complaint is that it is slightly too wide to fit in my car cup holder and bike bottle holder.

Awesome water bottle! The top part of the cap has the drinking spot and the entire cap comes off for ease in cleaning. Because it is single-wall stainless, it can be used to boil water during hiking or backpacking trips. Great bottle!

Product arrived quickly. It is exactly as described. This is a great, and cheaper alternative to the similar Guyot design water bottle. It has a very large opening which is nice. I have used this product to boil water, make char cloth, and as a water bottle. I even accidentally dropped it off a four story cliff. When I retrieved it it was only slightly dented on the bottom edge. You can't beat it for the price.
