S4 Mini Case, Brila Galaxy S4 Mini Dual Layer Bumper Case Tpu Pc Hybrid Protective Case for Galaxy S4 Mini. (Dark Navy)

After getting my phone I was a bit disappointed in case selections for the mini as compared to the full size S4. I am a bit careless with my phones and wanted a case that would offer study protection when I drop it on hard surfaces, including concrete and gravel. But, I intentionally bought a small smartphone and didn't want something that would make it super bulky. I also hoped for a selection of interesting but not neon colors. This case seemed to fit on all points.Installation was very easy, but it fits my phone snugly. The case is actually slimmer than I expected, but it looks and feels pretty solid. I just did my first accidental drop test in a grocery store. It hit a rubber corner and actually bounced slightly before landing gently. It didn't make nearly as much clatter as I expected, so I guess the rubber absorbed a lot of the impact. I do think the lip around the front of the phone could stand to be bigger, but I put a good glass screen protector on my phone too, so I'm not too worried.Aesthetically, this case is very thoughtfully designed. It looks nice and slick, not chunky like other two piece cases. I ordered the light blue, and I was a bit worried about color because the photos provided do not show the color very consistently. What I got is not exactly like any of the photos but I'd say it's acceptably close. It's a bit grayer than the photos show and the plastic is more matte. Still, it's a good shade of light blue.Functionally, the case adds a bit of weight (in a good way) without making the phone feel bulky. The button covers on the sides require a little more force to use and stop you feeling the button's click, but don't interfere with my ability to use them easily one-handed. The outer shell is plenty grippy I don't worry about it sliding out of my hand, although it still slides around a bit on a smooth surface. The exposed rubber does catch a bit when I pull the phone in and out of my pocket, which is a little annoying but not really a major disruption.Overall I recommend this phone if you want sturdy protection but minimal bulk and a slick look. I chose this one in part because it was on sale for $10, but I think it would have been worth the full price given the lack of similar alternatives.

This is a Spigen knockoff and I don't think Spigen is all that so this is 'less-than not all that' . The outer liner that looks like rubberized grippie material is HARD plastic and the smooth part isn't a matted surface like it looks like in the pictures but a glossy fingerprint magnet that slides on anything but sandpaper. You want a CHEAP case...this is it. The raised bumps for the volume and power buttons don't match and trying to turn the volume up or down thorough the case is pretty hard. Oh well, too cheap to send back so I'll keep it I guess.

I wish the back wasn't so slick so it would stay put on the car seat or table. But it seems to offer some protection. I haven't dropped the phone yet, so the jury is still out on the true test of a phone case. All the the plugs go into the phone nicely without interference from the case. Installs easily. I think it is a good value for the price which was about 6-10 dollars.

Looks really nice but I wish the shell part was rubberized. My phone slides everywhere. If you want something for the look, get this. If you want something that helps you grip the phone, skip this.

Keeps phone trim, which is why I chose a S4 mini in the first place, and protected from everyday bumps and taps. No major drops have happened, and I put a common clear protector sheet on glass face to protect from scratches, etc. There is a shallow lip to protect glass if phone is placed face downward. Easy to put on. Product is as described, color true to photo, and excellent value for what is delivered.

Works as advertised and looks sharp and slim, good for drop durability, only reason for 4 stars is buttons are a bit stiff but just takes getting used to and they do work.

First of all, I had a problem with Amazon when I tried to cancel this order. Since I was stuck with the items I opened the package to test it out. Would be a fine case if only the volume button would work.

I've had this case for a year now and although the case has a little wear and tear (I'm clumsy, so my phone has taken a lot of crap), my phone is as beautiful as the day I got it. I've literally thrown my phone down the hall and the case absorbed the hit. It's a nice, simple design, so I love it and it doesn't look silly at work/nicer events. I hope to be able to use this case for as long as I have the phone because it is really a good one
