How much oil it need ? Is it good for people who wants to do diet..?

Question 1- How much oil?Answer: Around 70oz. of oil at the "max" line and 60oz at the "min" line.  I pour nearly the entire contents of a 64 oz bottle of oil until it is half-way between the "min" and "max" lines.  Never go over the max line or you will experience a spill over during operation which is a dangerous situation.  My oil of choice is Canola oil which has a higher burn temperature than vegetable oil.  Of course you can use Canola, Vegetable or Peanut Oil.Question 2 - Is it good for people who want to diet?I am not a nutritionist, but it is hard for me to think that deep fried anything is good for you in excess whether you are on a diet or not.  I am a calorie counter and thus I stop eating when I reach my limit and yet I do not avoid any foods, whether fried, fast foods or bags of chips.  Yes, I do count out single servings of fries, chips.  I find that a change in life style is better for me in lieu of the word diet.  Whether you use this fryer or any other method of deep frying food, make sure fried foods fit your diet plan if you are "dieting".  Hope this helped Fatimah.

Its a wonderful kitchen tool.  could not be without it.  it fries with ease and less grease .  but dont know the watt it doesnt use much wattage. it is so small.

Does this fryer rotate?  Does the inside cooking pan remove for clean up?

The fryer does not "rotate" inside the unit, however, the basket "lowers" into the basin by lifting the handle into an extended position, and it can be moved around easily by hand, or be held up over the hot oil by a catch hook on the basket/basin until you are ready to cook, or it can be removed altogether for cooking or cleaning.  The inside of the fryer is Teflon coated, but it is permanently attached to the pan.  It does clean up very easily, but you can not immerse the whole unit all the way into the water.  The whole unit is very light, so this makes it remarkably easy to move and to clean.

Question 4

Why would my fryer be leaking oil all over the counter from the bottom?  Both during and while not in use.

I thought mine was leaking but it just needed cleaning.  The basket was clogged with breading & waste from many uses so when I cooked the oil boiled.  The bubbling oil seeped out of the back of the lid and ran down the back of the fryer onto the counter.  I found the mess the next morning and blamed the fryer.  Maybe your situation was different but in my case the "leak" was the result of my not cleaning often enough.  You can let this thing go for several uses, but not forever :-)
