lives up to all expectations and then some.
Good packaging, arrived in our driveway without any damage. No assembly required. Small divet toward the back allows you to thread the cord for the pump. Have had this basin in the front of our house for a year. Great environment for water plants (our water lilies bloomed many times last summer) and mosquito fish. Survived a cold Nebraska winter while mostly filled (we had a small floating heater so the birds could have a drink). No leaking or cracking. Easy to clean. Light for its size. Very attractive, really does look like stone. Our cat and dachshunds will have a little drink from it on a hot day. Overall, a really good product.

Love my Patio Pond!
I am loving this patio pond! It was light weight and easy to set up, but it looks like a high quality ceramic or glazed clay pot.The color is not really green, but more of a green black which is very tasteful.I really hate the look of "fake" rock, stone or ceramic, but this does not look like cheap fiber glass. It was set up in minutes and has held up well in hot sun with no issues whatsoever. They are sold out right now, but when they are back in stock I'l probably get another one for the front entry. I highly recommend!

Perfect placement, perfect purpose. Perfect look.
I gave it 4 stars because we have not had our winter yet. Besides aesthetics, yes I'd say it looks great, adding my bamboo fountain w a small pump produces a trickle of water which is so calm/relaxing. It is shelved to accommodate potted plants and below shelf it is open for my fish to hide in. This bowl was true to dimensions provided, is light weight, and the color works. I elevated w/ pavers to gain a closer look while lounging. Make sure to place in final destination before setting up.

Light weight yet Sturdy.
It was difficult to find a reasonably priced Basin. I was able to get on sale. This is really made well. It has a shelf for plants. I need to get the bags to hold the marginal plants and soil to put in the pond.. I have a pump and filter in this basin. Hubby bought 10 small gold fish. I have one water Hyacinth, 1 water lettuce and a water lily in here as well. Absolutely Love it so far. I was going to look for a pot and plug the hole to use as a water garden. But opted to buy this. It is light weight yet It’s sturdy and Worth the money. I am happy. It’s perfect for my Japanese garden

Perfect afternoon project
We've done a lot over the years in our yard, But putting together this water garden using the 24-inch patio pond was one of the few projects that gave such quick and wonderful gratification. It's been installed for more than a month now and it still makes me smile each time I see it. We picked up a few plants, added a pump that gurgles the water and it is lovely. I love it. Would definitely positively recommend.

Third Year - Still love it!
Great purchase. I’ve had mine for 3 years and it still great. Easy to set up every spring. Easy to empty, rinse out and store in late fall. Not one complaint.

A bit pricey, but excellent build quality
We've been thinking of getting a small patio pond for over a year to hide a concrete cover for a catch basin in our back yard. We finally settled on this product after doing quite a bit of research. The cheaper generic patio ponds are not usually in this shape and style. Additionally, this exact product was available locally from a garden shop, but for around the same price as from Amazon, I could only get the smaller size locally. It appears to be a quality product. We got the "2nd generation" version, that has the hallow shelves and the rubberized liner sprayed inside for leak proofing. And it's amazingly light! We started by washing it out when we un-packaged it. I then filled it with tap water from the hose, and added a bit of Prime to strip the chlorine from the water (we have a fish tank, so I had some Prime laying around). Then the next day we added washed river rock to the bottom of it, and proceeded to add some potted water plants, as well as some floaters.Overall, we're very happy. We were thinking of adding a spitter to it down the road.

slow leak ahead
As much as I like the item and the looks of the pond for our small backyard and flower bed. We have noticed, at first thinking it was evaporation from the summer heat, a slow leak, from full to half empty in approximately 48 hours. We did not add any water to it to see what was happening this last month with the lower temperatures and found the pond still loses water. we sat it on higher bricks and filled it up to try and locate the leak but do not see anything with a flow, there just seems to be a slow leak. Cannot figure out how to request a refund/replacement as the order is months old.EDIT---- this year has seen more of a leak, in just over 24 hours from being filled to brim, the pond will not hold water, all the way down to approximately 20 % of capacity. very upset with this high dollar purchase.
