I was excited to get this "outdoor beach blanket" before my trip to the beach. This tarp is lightweight and a good size. Packs up easily. However, I ordered this before the product page was updated. The original description includes sand stakes, which were important for me in choosing this blanket. When I received the item, it did not have the stakes included. I contacted the company and they apologized and said they would send them to me immediately. Well, that did not happen, but at least they apologized and said they were definitely sending me a replacement. It's been weeks and I have received nothing and have not gotten any response from the seller.All of the color options for this item have black as their main color. Beware if you are trying to use this on a hot beach! It will get very hot and sticky. Other companies have better color options.There are many alternatives out there that provide the same or similar product at a lower price. Hopefully one of those sellers will follow through with their claims.

Love it! I take it everywhere just incase. Its packable so it's easy to carry ,doesn't take much space. Love the corner design. Its definitely not for comfort if that's what your looking for. It's for protection from wetness. Love that it has the corner hooks already in design so it won't move on the grass . Would love if they can send me a freebie 😉 love it that much

This works very well and I am very happy to have it. What is called a "sand resistant beach blanket" is also basically a 5x5 plastic tarp, but let's call it ultra portable water proof "beach blanket." I paired it with an inflatable pillow and the two are a great pair, weighing only a few ounces each. Now I go the a park with my dog and she gets a twenty minute walk, and then she chills out and I unfold the "blanket" and inflatable pillow and people watch or read. I put the blanket which weighs a few ounces with the air pillow which weighs a few ounces in a nylon ultra light backpack that weighs a few ounces.

This is more like a lightweight tarp than a “blanket”. I was expecting something with at least a little bit of cushion and softness and could not tell what the texture was like from any of the pictures or reviews. Both sides are a thin, slippery nylon type texture with no softness at all. It is easy to fold, lightweight, and compact. Great if you just want something waterproof, but not soft or comfortable to sit on.

This pocket blanket is absolutely amazing. It’s super lightweight and packable yet still very durable. Folds up nicely and fits in its own cute little pouch which comes with its own carabiner. The corners can be used to put sand or light rocks in to keep it in place or you can use the convenient hidden stakes. A little bonus is it can also be used as a tarp!I will be packing it in my overlanding gear so for every adventure!

We have used this on several hikes and loved it every time. It’s so light weight and squishes into a tiny corner of my back pack. It spreads out quite large. My husband and I were able to sit on it and eat lunch on a recent hike. The ground was very dusty and this blanket made it much nicer than just sitting on the ground. We liked it so much we gifted one to a friend.

Excellent light weight, packable, perfect park or beach towel. I’m able to walk with this blanket wherever, even long distances, and it’s not heavy at all to tote. It was a super windy day today in San Francisco, and the steaks worked perfectly on the grass at Golden Gate Park. I got the print that is mostly gray with white blue and yellow triangle corners. Several people have complemented my blanket. Must buy!

Ok it is just a piece of plastic but I did not know I needed this. It was supposed to be a picnic eating blanket for kids in the house. Then we used it outside, totally would bring it to the park, beach, keep one in the car...oh look the kids made a tent out of it.Your 8 year old wants one of these. The 8 year old inside of you wants one also.
