Item is a bit shorter than original but is working fine for first 2 hours after installing. Fits into the plastic clamp on "radiator coil" and is securely held. Plug was proper length and easy to install....once you tear the refrigerator apart. While replacing this you may want to replace the defroster or fan motor while everything is apart!

Refridgerator repair man said he didn’t think this was the issue, but it was! Part was reasonable and worked great!

If your samsung side by side refrigerator is not cooling let it defrost for several days then replace the following parts:SAMSUNG DA31-00146E MOTOR FAN-BLDC DREP5 OEMSamsung DA47-00322J Heater-Sheath Metal RefSamsung OEM Original Part: DA32-00029Q Refrigerator Temperature SensorCopy paste these descriptions into Amazon search.Its usually caused by one of these or multiple failures.Replacement takes less than 30 minutes with a phillips screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers.All parts are located in the refrigerator enclosure behind the lower panel. Pull all the shelves out and remove the lighting covers to expose screws.When you replace the parts inside the fridge make sure you remove the panel behind the fridge and vacuum off any build up on the coils (you will know when you see them). Also, there are 2 white rubber drain hoses. Make sure they are free of debris.Thats it!A beginner can do the job in less than an hour.

Sent defective part
5/6/2020: Performed resistance test using multi-meter before installing and got OL (open line). Should have read reading of 5K ohms at room temp. Used two different multi-meters with same result. Looks like they sent a defective part. Reached out to vendor (Empire Office Machines) and will update on response.5/7/2020: Vendor asked me to install as this part is rarely defective. I Installed in the evening.5/11/2020: Temperature sensor must be working because the coils are not freezing over. I'm still confused why I didn't see an ohm reading, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Changed rating to 5 stars.

Works perfectly as it should and you can test with the old or damaged one together to see the difference.

Does not fit !!!
Wiring is WAY shorter than original part ! The plug is right but it doesn't help when the wiring doesn't reach!!
