KitchenAid KHB1231 2-Speed Hand Blender, Empire Red - KHB1231ER

I recently purchased the KitchenAid KHB1231IC 2-Speed Hand Blender, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets! This hand blender is powerful, efficient, and super easy to use. With two speeds, it handles everything from blending smoothies to pureeing soups with ease.The design is sleek and comfortable to hold, making it a breeze to maneuver. Cleanup is a cinch, as the removable blending arm.Overall, this hand blender has exceeded my expectations and has made meal prep so much easier. I'm a kitchen gadget fiend and freely admit it. There are some items that I buy and then realize they aren't as useful as I thought they would be. Others becomes indispensable. This blender definitely falls in that category! I've had it for 8 years and it's still working as beautifully as it did on day one.This little guy is a great deal - great brand which has well made products and easy to use customer service if you ever need it. This is a good price on a stick/immersion blender, and it comes with a very handy container with lid to blend/store in. Although you can blend in any container it can be hard to find ones with nice tall sides to help prevent splatter. Mostly important if you're working with something hot or something that might stain!I use this most often to correct lumps in my frosting or white sauces. I also use it to quickly thicken up soups by partially blending them. It may not have the power of my Vitamix but it does an amazing job and it very quick/easy to pull out AND clean up. Nice long cord to reach all the way into the pot on the stove from wherever your outlet may be. My only complaint is that food can build up along the edge of the rubber seal on the inside of the metal area covering the base of the blades. I normally use a toothpick to clean along this edge and once in a while run a knife under the lip to make sure all the gunk gets cleaned out.Other than that I love everything about the design of this blender and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Top of the line product. I had a Cuisinart which I loved, but I accidentally melted it a little bit. I went a few months without an immersion blender, but they’re handy to have around, take up very little space, and are easy to clean.I replaced the Cuisinart with a cheap off-brand immersion blender, which sent iced coffee flying all over my kitchen (glad it wasn’t hot soup!!!) I returned it and got this KitchenAid, and I’m so glad I did! We’ve used it every day since it arrived. It has 2 power settings, the low is low, which is absolutely necessary. There’s nothing worse than needing to slightly blend something and ending up with a purée. The high setting is high enough to crush ice, but not so high that it sends your food flying all over the walls.While I try to buy kitchen appliances that match my decor, I wouldn’t get a subpar product on color alone. I got lucky with this one because it’s a great product, and matches my walls perfectly. I was thrilled there were so many options.This product is well worth the price. It was only $15 more than the off brand immersion blender, but that difference is nothing in consideration of performance. I’m certain it will last for years to come, assuming I don’t leave it on the stove and turn on the wrong burner.

Shipping and delivery was by FedEx and amazingly fast! Packaging arrived in perfect condition. I ordered the cranberry immersion blender. Had one from years ago that got damaged in a move. Tried so many others and even the new versions of KitchenAid and they are not like this one. They don't make things like they used to. This older version is just the best in my eyes. The new versions have so much suction that you can't even move or go up and down with the hand blender but this older version you can really work what your trying to blend to perfection without the strain and struggle. I actually purchased two and both arrived outstandingly. Seller is tried tested and true!!

I got very tired of using my juicer, and also my blender AND CLEANING UP AFTER THEM! What a pain!So I thought ... what about using this hand blender in its cup on some fruit ... and wow, this makes great juice, and it doesn't taste like store bought thin processed juice either, there is pulp and body to the juice I make from this, and can pretty much make juice from anything. I love it just for that. I'm so glad I got it and now I have fresh fruit and fiber in my diet that tastes delicious - AND DOESN'T REQUIRE A LOT OF WORK OR MAJOR CLEAN-UP.It is so handy, versatile and it is very heavy-duty. A just a swish in water to clean. A totally brilliant product that I never knew I had in my kitchen bag of tricks.I have to recommend this and rate it a 5/5.My one beef, and I am going to take a star off for this is that I got mine not to long ago for $31 and came back to get a gift for someone and the price has DOUBLED.Now 4/5
