Lightfoot's Pure Pine Gentlemen`s Athletic Soap - 5.8 oz.

We frequently housesit for our friends who have used this soap for years and we always love the smell of it. We began to purchase it at a local store and are never disappointed with the product. I figured why drive and waste gas when I can have it delivered to my home so I ordered it here on Amazon. It came quickly as all our orders always do and it was exactly as expected. The soap has that delicious pine scent that is not cloying and it has a great lather that last through many showers. It is a bit pricey, but, you get what you pay for and if you enjoy it why not!

Put six bars in my husband's Christmas stocking. He loves it! (And so do I!) Hard-milled. Realistic pine fragrance and long lasting. No wonder it's the soap of choice at many country clubs!

This soap is something of a family tradition. I remember it's very pleasant smell from my childhood. Both my Canadian great-grandfather and grandfather used this soap. I rediscovered it a few years ago and it has since become a favourite.As soap goes, it's very effective. It cleans well and rinses easily, leaving no residue. Its pine fragrance is a delight, but not at all overwhelming, and it does not linger long. Try it, I think you'll like it very much.

I bought for my mom and she loves pine scent. She said the pine fragrance doesn't last very long. But she said the soap does do it's job!!

Strange that the these soaps arrived in three zip lock baggies. No box as shown in listing. I believe the soap is authentic and good, but what a strange presentation. Would send them back, but my husband loves this soap and wants to keep. If they were not going to send the soaps in box as shown in listing, should have been noted in listing.

Have no dislike of the product, I love and and use it every day, the scent is not too strong or too weak, it's perfect!

I have used Caswell Massey soap for years and wanted to try something different. Like the CM soaps, the scent was strong out of the box but became unnoticeable after use. It does not leave a scent on my skin, and I didn't expect it to.Nice, large bar, like CM. Unfortunately, it began to develop a fissure running lengthwise down the bar. This grew larger until today it split, leaving me with two perfectly usable thin bars. Not a fatal problem, but over the course of 25 years this never happened with the CM soap.
