I like the weight, the size and the way it writes. It also looks nice and is easy to hold.However, the paint on it scratches easier than I would have expected or liked. The picture shown is after about two months of near daily use. I certainly don't baby it but I am not careless with it either. Just normal day-to-day business use.

This product is marked as "Scriveiner London": they are designed in London, and I presume that it's a British company--it's a "King's Award winner." It writes, and looks, great.Just understand that it's "made in China". That's not shocking: I looked at some Burberry coats a few years ago which were labeled as being made in China. But just don't think you are getting a British-manufactured product.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this in person. The color is very rich looking. It has a good weight to it and sits comfortably in the hand. It comes in a nice box, for easy gifting and even has a spare refill included. Writes smoothly and the ink doesn’t smear.

This makes an excellent gift with the nice presentation box the pen comes in, plus the bonus refill--good to know when the need arises. However I bought this pen for personal use and was pleasantly surprised by how well it looks, feels, and writes. The barrel diameter is just right for my hand...not too thin, not too thick. I liked this pen so much I just bought the stainless steel model as well.
