Daiwa new fuel 100 baitcasting reel has a precision machined aluminum frame with twelve bearings. Available in 6.3:1, 7.3:1, and 8.1:1 gear ratios in both left and right hand retrieves. The fuel 100 will set new standards at a very affordable price.

Best reel at this price point.
There is no better reel manufacturer than Daiwa at this price point. Their $100 reels feel like others' $200 reels. This is essentially a Tatula without the T Wing, which I'm not really a fan of anyway as I use very long leaders and most knots cannot pass thru the T Wing (FG knot will if you tie it perfectly). The Magforce Z braking system is a beast; at maximum you can't even spin the spool, while at 0 there is no brake effect at all. The brakes are designed to engage only at maximum spool rotation and then disengage as the spool slows down. Read up on the Magforce Z system, you'll be impressed. This system works better than most dual brake systems I own, and I own Lews, Abu, Shimano, etc.
