Every time when my restaurant walking cooler's thermostat broken, I always bought this one to replaced, it's very easy to put it on, and worked very well, most fit all brands walking cooler, but because my walking cooler was too old, we decided to change a new one, so we don't need extra the thermostat, so Ijust returned it.

Unit is a Quality part and is calibrated correctly
I tested the control by using a cup of ice with a little bit of water put thermostat bulb into cup of water and cycled thermostat from 30 to 35 degrees and you can hear it click right at 30° mark which means it is calibrated correctly And will hold correct temperature this is the controller you use if you do not want to go digital or have a customer that wants a dependable control with 5° accuracy this is a control you want to use they are dependable and work in a variety of applications

Genuine Penn control
Control was a genuine Penn control but not as pictured it had a black cover this was not a problem where I was using it.

Fantastic for freezer to fridge convert
Used on a 7 cubic foot chest freezer to fridge conversion. Fantastic. This easy project allows us to run a fridge on a small solar system at about 300 watts per day. You will have to wire in a power plug. I cut a short drop cord in half, which gave me both ends at the custom lengths I needed.

Piece of junk
I am hoping someone can help me out? I bought the Johnson Controls A19ABA-40C Line V Mechanical Thermostat, 120 to 277 VAC at first I was very happy with them they worked great right out of the box. All of a sudden they started to close on temp fall not rise. I don't understand why? They can only be wired as a switch one way. In a heating application they would be great, but not on a cooler. Any suggestions as to why they are doing this? I have 3 very unhappy customers.

Thermostat for cooling
Only works for fan or air conditioner. Not for heat. I ordered it by mistake. Amazon grouped it with other similar thermostats. I tried to reorder same one as before, didn’t look close at it.
