If you're into fountain pens you almost can't have not heard about Moonman by this point. The quick version is: "amazing price for the quality of pen received."I mean it's obviously cheaply made, but the manufacturers have done a great job of disguising the fact while also making it quite attractive.The supplied nib is a surprisingly smooth and crisp one in a perfectly convincing and consistent EF size. I replaced that nib with a Franklin-Cristoph no. 6 music nib, which works extremely well using the feed that was supplied with the pen.I cannot recommend Moonman bodies enough for those who want to fill out their collection quickly and cost-effectively, especially if you are looking to develop a range of custom-nibbed pens.

Firt, of course, I loved the design. The material, with embedded, iridescent flecks of color that changes as you move iit, is usually found on far more expensive pens. The pen is well-balanced in the hand, and the ink flow 'just right'. The nib is very smooth and glides over paper. I have several Moonman pens, and have come to expect excellence in design and manufacture.
