This Item is outstanding. Why? I've had two HP printers all in ones however, they were okay and did the job the inks are very expensive and not worth the money quite frankly. Now this printer faxes very fast and prints very fast also holds twice the paper in its tray. I like the big readable screen display that's really an asset. The HP always a hard time with big hands to enter numbers into the printer to fax,dial, and configure. This primer comes with the CD ROM if needed. Out of the box set up was indeed a breeze. Ready to go. I was really impressed to say the least. I have never posted a seriously negative review of a product in the past as I try to work with the manufacture to fix their product problems and keep the customer happy. However, after prolonged attempts at resolution with this products issue I have to post something to show my frustration. The company has horrible customer service and does not support its flawed product, so I need to warn other potential customers to avoid my expensive mistake and seek a different manufacturer to purchase your printer and your ink.I bought this printer in December of 2021. It initially worked fine. I left on a vacation in July and returned in August to a long list of items to complete with close deadlines. Many required me to use my printer. Unfortunately, when I turned on my computer, I chose to update the software for the computer and for the printer (automatic requests that I clicked yes on – bad mistake). Once the printer software was updated it rejected the ink in my printer (which has worked previously and was Espon brand). Given very tight deadlines I called all over town and found some new Epson ink 20 miles away. I bought it and returned. The printer rejected the new yellow ink. I called customer service asking for help rolling back my printer software so I could finish my job and was dismissed. Now with a few hours deadline, I had to go buy a NEW printer and new ink (clearly NOT Epson brand), return, install and print.The deadline met, I recontacted Epson and asked them to take my printer back or replace the software as it was useless. I could not even print with black only ink when it rejected the yellow cartridge. They simply ignored me but asked for receipts, etc. to prove I bought new Epson Ink. That required more of my time to scan (with my new printer mind you), fill out forms, and submit. Weeks later they sent me a single new yellow ink cartridge. By then I was traveling again. I returned a month later, the ink was in my mail. I installed it – It does not work so now 6 weeks after the original problem I still cannot use my printer. I suspect to get any help I will need to go through all the same paperwork and hassle and will have no resolution of the software issue, which is the real problem, not the ink.Bottom line – this is a deeply flawed device with very touchy software glitches. The company is so paranoid to protect their ink business that they had made their device(s) unusable. I now see they were sued and they settled that lawsuit a few years ago. What they have not done is fix the problem nor do they want to help customers who have problems.I strongly recommend you not buy this device and seek a different manufacturer (probably none of their devices after reading the lawsuit information and noting they have not agreed to resolve the problem).

Excellent printer. Made in the year 2020. Printed about 70-80 color pages and yellow ran out. Have to purchase 4 pack of colors. Hard to find individual ink cartridge. Single cartridge is about $11. 4 pack ink about $25-$30. Fast printing, easy to set up to phone. Very happy. Little large but ok.

I’ve had this now for a few months . Easy set up and is functioning perfectly ….so far so good …my prior HP printer was problematic ( scan function gave me fits) so glad I found this …and price is very reasonable !

The printer is great. However, I ordered the Combo Pack - printer and ink. The ink they send in that combo pack is NOT for the 4820. I just found this out when I went to put in the new cartridges. So I paid and extra $70+ dollars for the ink and did NOT get the 822XL large ink. Now I had to paid just under $90 for more ink cartridges and have a set of ink cartridges that I cannot use!

This is my 3rd Workforce setup through the years. I highly recommend these as the price is great for all the functions this has. I am able to print, copy, scan to my Samsung tablet, Pixel phone, and iPhone. Make sure to install the Epson Smart Panel software for Android and IOS. No problems with my Windows or Linux systems either. I do not use the fax as I don't have a landline. I have in the past and had no problems with Epson. Print cartridges are cheaper than others. Nice touchscreen on front panel. Excellent wireless and hard wire LAN connectivity. Very good color. Remeber, this IS NOT a photo printer so don't complain about photo quality. More SOHO than anything. Get the right tool for the job. Also, this does perform dual sided printing and copy. Check your settings!

This printer has proven to be unnecessarily challenging, it constantly has error messages, I don't print a lot and never require yellow (or anything outside of black) but I am constantly out of ink and it is expensive to replace. It is just a hassle and I am thinking of replacing it - even though I have only had it for 6 months. When there are errors the online instructions are impossible - I go to chat gpt and the instructions are much easier to follow but given my low and simple usage I should not be getting so many error messages. One recent example is it told me the yellow ink was out even though I never use yellow and it does not let you just print in black if the color jets are out. It started to walk me thru how to change the ink which is pretty simple but the ink cartridge did not automatically move to a spot that I could pull them out, I tried to use epson help - useless, used chat gpt and just moving the cartridges for replacement was much harder than it needed to buy. I would not buy this printer again - poor design and user experience, expensive to maintain,

great printer for the price, easy to set up and use, ink replacement prices are not bad either. love it !
