The Pencil Perfected!
I found these on accident and now have a fleet of these pencils! They are the most convenient mechanical pencil I have yet to find! The button to advance the led is near right behind the place where your fingers will be so you don't have to re-position your hand in any way. It's right there so you just stop writing, leave your hand in the same position on the paper and just click, click, click and keep writing! And don't get me started on the eraser! It's the best in the biz! It's not only replaceable, it's huge. It's probably about an inch long and you can extend/retract it by turning a little wheel around the base of the eraser. Not only that, it's a great eraser too. I've had some pencils with good erasers but they are tiny and worn to nothing in no time. Others are just no good at erasing. I mean come on - how old is this technology and some companies are still struggling with the eraser? If you like mechanical pencils, this one is for you. I do the newspaper crossword puzzles and this one erases completely! (and no, I don't work for the company - it's just that good)

Favorite Pencil of all time!
I can never find these in the store, but have bought them on here twice now when my old one breaks. This is the only pencil I use at work. If I lose it I panic and search the whole office until I find where I left it. They do always seem to break the exact same way, but it could just be the way I hold/use it. They last me over a year of daily use at work so I figure that's still pretty good. They are comfortable to hold, write with .7mm lead, and the eraser lasts a long time.

Awesome pencil
This has two of my major must-haves for a mechanical pencil. Twist eraser and don't touch the eraser to advance the lead... seriously, who thought clicking the eraser was ever a good idea? The oils in your hands ruin them and then you get smeary erases... and that's if your hands are clean! If you're an active-at-recess kid and don't have perfectly clean hands.... ick... anyway as I was saying... this has my two main must- haves. But also, it holds a good amount of lead - you can nearly get two of those little containers worth, so what, 17-19 sticks? So, bonus! Additionally, if you're one of those people who don't like those little, skinny disposable pencils, heads up! These are a bit fatter around, so easier to hold onto. My active 12yo also has yet to break one and it's been nearly a year since we got our first one of these, so even better!

Best pencils ever!
I used these pencils for 3 years through all my math-related college courses. Now I'm back in school and using them again. They are comfortable to hold, the graphite doesn't break easily, it's so convenient to click the side button as needed while writing, and it erases well. Perfect!

My favorite mechanical pencil
My favorite mechanical pencil. I use them every day on the job and bought this set as a back up just in case I lose one of my others. Highly unlikely but you never know! Feels very good in the hand, erases very well, and .7mm is just enough thickness to get nice lines and also have a decently strong piece of lead.

The Perfect Pencil
I'll always love these pencils, I've drawn with them since I was 11 years old, and I turned 24 this year. Nothing has come close to the quality and comfort these provide. - It appears that Pentel is discontinuing the Side FX which is pretty sad considering the closest thing they offer now is the P207. The P207 looks nicer, but it has a tiny eraser, and the grip is less comfortable (it's smaller, rubberless, and has 10 small sides instead of 6.)I have 4 stars instead of 5 because: 1) You get a random version and I don't like how the 6a looks compared to the 5g for instance. 2) The eraser isn't great when it's brand-new, I recommend wearing it down a bit or only using it on unimportant work to begin with.

These are my favorite mechanical pencils
These are my favorite mechanical pencils. I used to buy them from a local store but they stopped carrying them. I was really excited to find them on Amazon. They are very durable and comfortable to use. I go through the cheaper ones so quickly because they break and their erasers are difficult to remove. I will buy from this seller again.

Awesome #2 mechanical pencil
This is my favorite #2 mechanical pencil. The grip is the perfect fit for writing. The lead advance is at you finger tips! Saving best for last! The eraser advances with a top twist and is a very nice length with available replacements!
