I really liked the idea of this product because of my hair commitment issues. I’m type 4c/4b and therefore my hair is coarse and can be damaged easily. Because of hair commitment issues I didnt want to dye my hair permanently and have to set up a whole other wash day routine because... I’m a lazy natural? As soon as I decided I wanted a different hair colour, instagram, youtube and snapchat started eating this stuff up, so I found this on amazon and hoped it wasnt some type of dupe. The product consistency is similar to cantu’s leave in conditioner mixed with clay. I wouldnt say its very waxy, but the colour? Wow sis. Its a vibrant/metallic blue and grey/silver. I used 1/2 a pot of the blue (because I have a big head) and maybe 1/8th of the grey to add a little shimmer. It looked really good and the colour intensity subsided after around 3 days. Which is expected from a non-permanent wax. Now, onto the “easy to wash out/no mess. First of all. It all came out of my hair the second warm water touched it so that was brilliant. However, after a lot of air drying (and drying and drying) the flakes that came with the product made me think I was in a kellogs commercial. It was annoying but easy to get rid of. I wouldnt reccoment wearing white and using this product but it looked very cute and bibrant for day 1 and 2. By day 3 the colour was tired and it was more of a dark blue that you could see only if you tilted your head 90° closed your eyes and imagined the colour was still there. If you too have hair commitment issues and have type 4 hair in particular and want a change I’d say go for it, just beware of the flaking and the time it takes to dry. Do not. Under any circumstances blowdry your hair directly with this product in your hair. I don’t care if Obama tells you on beyoncè’s internet to do it. Dont. If you Dont want shrinkage, either blowdry your hair first and go light on the wax or put the wax in and use the tension method or banding method (both can be found on various youtube channels). Oh yeah! It smells like playdough too. So thats that! But enjoy!! (I put 4 stars because youtube is a lie and said there would be no flakes but there are flakes, dont let those promo tutorials fool you sis.)

I had some scepticism about this product working on black 4c hair but as I saw a few reviews that it did, i decided to try it. Should have listened to my gut. This made my hair stringy, took a long time to dry (2-3 days) and stains absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s more like a wet coat of paint you have on your hair than hair colouring as it doesn’t seem to have penetrated into the hair. The colour isn’t too bright but I can’t be too harsh about that because I have black hair. I’ve still got a good amount left so maybe second time lucky? Not to be completely negative nancy it did have a fun pop of color (picture attached)

I love it it works so well but I just wish i could get more in one jar, like a bigger size at once. Works great with afro hair and especially in damp hair and easy to style. Washes out easily with warm water and some shampoo for a more thorough cleanse. great for styling curly hair.

Great set.Pack of 4 good size tubs too.My daughter loves having colour on her hair so this is perfect.Easy to apply, colours ate bright and stays on really well and easy to wash out.Great buy

The color of the wax is very beautiful and the taste is very good. It's not very hard on the hair. It doesn't have a lot of greasy feeling

I bought these to cover my grey roots while a permanent purple hair colourant grows out.They are very easy to use and they have disguised my grey roots really well. The wax is very thick and applies really easily. Dries quickly and lasts until the next wash. Just what I’ve been looking for :)Great value, would recommend :)

Love them! Applying is a bit messy but washes easily off your hands and gives great coverage. Not sure how it fairs in the rain though I’ve not been brave enough to test it....

Really impressed with the look and colour of these hair wax products !The feel and texture was good and really easy to apply , However even though the colour wax looks great on the hair it stains everything that comes in contact with your hair ( hats , pillowcases etc .) It was however easy to shampoo away ! So mixed feelings about this wax !
