A staple consumable for most projects and a great deal
Love this stuff, and I love the 5 pack deal. I go through a few rolls a year, depending on the projects. For car audio, you need this stuff. Use in place of anywhere you'd use electrical tape (use heatshrink for the actual electrical connection plus this over the shrink to protect) ..there's no residue and it sticks to itself like mad. In fact, the one negative is finding the edge to lift and use off the roll! Repair factory wiring looms after replacing parts, or even use it as a wrap on tools for more grip. Also useful on pipes as a wrap around foam insulation. Get creative!

Tesa is the brand to buy for custom harnesses
If you've not used this before, Tesa tape is hands-down better than wrapping your wiring in electrical tape. At least in my experience, the heat in the engine bay has always caused my electrical tape adhesive to break down leaving a sticky, unraveling mess around my wires. But (so far) my Tesa tape seems to be holding up every bit as well as whatever the manufacturer uses to wrap their own wiring. As an added plus, the color and texture are close enough to the OE tape that repairs/modifications I make to the OE harness look like they too are original. This is good stuff and makes my work (mods and repairs) look better while providing necessary protection to the wiring. And as it comes in a multi-pack, one roll stays in the truck at all times in case I ever have to make an off-road repair.

Makes for a great result
This is fantastic stuff. My car originally had a vinyl covered wiring loom but it had been repaired previously using sticky electrical tape. This made for a horrible experience, trying to debug and repair it, everything was covered in sticky residual adhesive. After cleaning things up and repairing various wires it came time to re-wrap the loom and this made everything look fantastic. It's not completely simple, you need to be careful with how much you overlap it but if you spend the time to get it right, it looks great.

Good Quality. Great Value
This is a lot of tape for the money. I have taped up a lot of wiring and have only used one roll. I now need to buy another project vehicle to try to use up some more. In all reality though, It really cleans up wiring and makes everything look much more tidy. The tape is not overly sticky to the extent that it sticks to everything, but it does stuck to itself very well. This makes it very easy to use and is even easy to use in tight spaces.

Leaps and bounds better than electrical tape!
I do a lot of equipment installations into vehicles and I have come to loathe electrical (PVC) tape and the nasty, sticky residue it leaves behind after unwrapping an existing bundle of wires. Tesa tape has pretty much completely replaced electrical tape and cable ties for me when it comes to keeping service loops clean and wires bundled together. It is super sticky without leaving behind a residue, easy to tear into clean sections, and doesn't stretch like electrical tape. It keeps my bundles tightly together, the install looking clean, future serviceability top-notch, and makes me stand out among other installers! Highly recommended!EDIT: Nearly 2 years later and I still absolutely love this tape! Also, I have found a secondary function! In a pinch, it works great for blisters or "heated" skin before a blister. Just be careful when removing the tape as it sticks to dry skin really well and might rip the blister open!
