A good mat that even works as a dog bed
I wanted to put a dog bed down for my medium-sized dog, but there wasn’t a lot of room available. Voila - I repurposed this mat, covering it with a blanket for easy washing. Works great!

It is nicely made, soft and quite cushiony
This is actually Mary's husband writing this. It was given to me as a surprise and it was quite welcome. It is nicely made, soft and quite cushiony. I can now meditate easily for 20 minutes without my ankles and sides of my feet (when seated cross-legged) hurting. Next time I might order one bigger if made, but it is adequate and very comfortable.

Cover not actually washable
I've used this cushion for quite some time, and was prompted to write this because I was shopping for an actual removable cover to enclose this.The product description which says this has a machine washable cover, is misleading, as others have pointed out. Stitching around the dimpled/tufted points of the cushion go from one side clear through to the other, so the internal batting cannot easily be removed and reinserted without making/redistributing lumps.

Lumpy and uneven
Weird that you could produce a meditation mat that's so lumpy and uneven to sit on. I will be searching for a traditional even and flat mat. I have a hard time getting comfortable on this cushy-but-uneven.

Comfortable, super soft and supportive.
This zabuton is very soft. I don't even need a cushion when I'm sitting on the floor. It's really cushy. Its easy to lounge back on.
