used a few times seems to be sturdy. is wide enough for me-320lbs 5'11'' eventually im sure the material will dry rot and rip like all cots. If only manufactures would make a actually heavy duty for large people. price was ok, shipping was fast, easy install, except is not what i am used to- when opening the legs swivel up and are larger than expected due to the amount of height this cot has. Its taller than last cot and is easy to go to sleep in and get out of.

I have a running joke with friends of mine, that when going on random days out, I may just pop the cot out of the truck and set it up where I want. It is so easy to use, and stable for being a heavier set (300+) individual, I love having this cot on adventures. Camping, Beach, random stop at a local park, or movies at the botanical garden, this is my go-to! Sure I could just have a chair, but what sit up when I can lay down comfortably and easily in the same amount of time? I've just realized I've used this cot for 3 of the last 4 birthdays where I like to sit (or lay) in solitude at a little known nature park - sand, lake, grass, trees, birds, a view, car nearby for any forgotten snacks or items AND sanitary park toilet facilities each within 20 yards?! It gives a perfect day. I love this cot!

The Rio cots are just awesome for tent camping. Easy to unpack and repack, lightweight for what they are and what they are rated to hold. Comfortable with no bumps or metal when you lay on them. Have used these for years now, first the regular size then the XL.

Good sturdy and strong cots. I ordered 5 but only received 4. One never arrived. Good investment though. My family consist of large individuals so it's a perfect buy for us.

I REALLY like this cot. I borrowed one from a friend and slept great. I really want one for myself for future uses. It takes up some room to store and is heavy, but is totally worth it if you car camp or have "lock ins" on the regular. It is easy to set up. The configuration of the legs allows for storage underneath. It is sturdy enough for a large adult. I also like the height off the ground which makes it easier to get up/down.HOWEVER, I have ordered it twice and both times, it arrived with the shipping box broken, the carrying bag with holes in it, and the joints scratched up. Also, both times it arrived with the plastic lock for the side pocket shattered. There is definitely a problem with shipping this product. I am returning it again, and hoping the third time is the charm. I hate to pay so much for something and have it not right from the start.

Really sturdy, really big, easy set up and closure

I bought the xl size cot and love it. Absolutely easy to set up and break down. my zippered carrying case brike. The sipper was damaged beyond repair. I tracked down customer service and they will NOT sell me a carrying case, and offered me a 30% discount so I could get a new cot and bag.. I asked customer service to make me a new bag I will pay for it. I was told no. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied.

This product is extremely heavy duty. Should last a lifetime. Bought it for my grandson so I did not sleep on it. But how comfortable can a cot be. I also bought a 4-inch mattress to use with it. My grandson is a very big boy. He sleep on it and is a happy camper.
