Did each lever (internal and external) have a hole for the button to lock? I purchased 3 of these and theyre all inconsistent with the l locking hole.

No, this internal lever did not have a locking mechanism on it.

I know this a dummy lever but does it turn ? This is paired with my smart lock & the non turning always give a faux feel to my guest that its locked

It’s not a dummy lever, it just doesn’t have the key hole and lock. It’s high quality and yes It does turn. It functions like any indoor handle without a lock.
