Excellent for clay mixing
This is so much easier to clean than other mixing paddles and it fit the chuck of my (baseline model) Dewalt.I use it for mixing up pottery clay scraps into a nice smooth slip for reclaim. It handled the job with no weld failures and I haven't yet seen any rust. All good.

Heavy duty
Well made, welds are smooth, no sharp edges, chrome plated. The shaft is about 11/32 hexagonal so it chucks up good. the beaters are 5/16ths round stock. It says it is for grout and thinset and I usually use it to mix hypertufa but have easily mixed sackrete with it too. If the mix is too dry this thing has no problem spinning the bucket as it is quite tough. I am 6'2" and it is good length for mixing in a 5 gallon bucket on the ground. It says corded drill only and a 1/2 inch with two handles would be nice but I regularly abuse my Greenworks 1/2 cordless if I am far from power and don't want to drag out the generator, etc.The trick to keeping it nice is to have a 2nd bucket full of rinse water. Between batches stick in this bucket and give it a quick spin.It mixes well if you plunge up and down and it is much easier to keep clean than mixers with leaf like blades. I had to use one of those a lot in my teen years and it was a job picking them clean with a pointing trowel.

Watch out fir the size
The shaft didnβt fit our favorite drill. Found a smaller one elsewhere.

Very sturdy
This is very sturdy. I used it to mix fruit cake batter which is thicker than spackling compound. Works great.

Very sturdy and good quality but some of the finish will come off after taking a beating.
Works as advertised. I've used it for mortar, grout, and paint so far and it does take a beating.
