It's funny, no matter how many times you read it.
I absolutely love reading this book to the kids before bed. Don't judge, we all do, that's why we got it. Seeing the joy in their faces as I go from page to page, the laughter we share together...it's just one more great memory before we turn out the lights for the night. I highly recommend this for anyone!

I love this book. I usually give one to my friends that are having babies as part of the shower present. I mean if they have a sense of humor. The book reads like a children’s story but is clearly not but it is cute and most parents appreciate the humor.

The hit of the baby shower
Got this book for my coworker and was the hit of the baby shower. A funny book that is beautifully illustrated and hilariously written. A must add for any baby shower gift!!!

Just plain hilarious!
This writer is a genius! This was a perfect gag gift for my son and daughter-in-law who are managing to little tykes now. They absolutely loved it. Also happens to be a very high-quality product that is made well and should last until they pass it down to their kids. Recommend this purchase.

FUNNY FOR NEW PARENTS!
This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! I have been buying copies for new parents for several years now. Imagine Morgan Freeman reading this (or look up on YouTube). It will make you laugh so much! Very soothing when read - except of course when the F word appears - but good for new parents for sure

If you can accept the language this is a fun book! We read it to our kids since we are open about curse words and educate them about them. If you don’t mind cussing I recommend getting this!

Original Review From August 7, 2015This story is just funny, and a lot of parents can relate to the frustration of trying to get your precious little one to just go to sleep. The audio version, read by Samuel L. Jackson who was perfect, gave a little interview prior to the reading. It is definitely not one for the kiddos, but it’s worth a listen/read. My husband and I listened to it (ironically) after we put our son down for bed…the book does ring so true. Anyway, it’s funny, and worth the price to own. I hope you pick it up and enjoy!
