will work, you need to be a little bit mechanically inclined.
Like the other reviewer said, the machining is off a bit. If you tighten one bolt first then there is no way to get the second one threaded. Whereas if you were to thread both bolts at the same time and tighten them a down in alternating fashion, the mechanical leverage provided will spread the holes and make things work.that said, the adaptor is solid. The price is the cheapest around and does what I needed. It's not Shimano quality, but I'm also not paying Shimano prices.

Good product, only works with new style post mount brakes. Will not work with IS (older) brake on PM fork.
Worked well when I upgraded to XT rear brake. I will have to say that you cannot use the front bracket if you have a post mount fork and are trying to fit a flat mount (IS) front brake brake. Only works the other way. I ended up buying a new XT front brake as well to solve that problem. Otherwise, good quality and the holes align well.

Good adapter plates
These are good adaptor plates in order to fit callipers on disc brake of a bikeI use them to fit different type of callipers on different bikes and they are working well

Slightly thicker brackets for180mm
Front bracket fit very well, rear bracket took some extra spacing at axle to clear disc rub!

Inexpensive and they work well.
Good fit. Tight in back, but certainly workable. Matched up with my Shimano calipers with no problem.

Worked fine on my 2010 Trek mountain bike.
The frame has the IS disc mounts, the Shimano M355 brakes I bought were not IS mount, this adapter did exactly what I needed it to do - it allowed me to mount my brakes onto my frame.
