Cristal de Paris Yvan Color Cristal Wine Glasses

Even after reading the previous reviews I decided to go ahead and order them anyway...I thought surely they would have fixed the packing problems. I was wrong. Three of the stems were broken off at the base. Each glass is only wrapped in tissue instead of bubble wrap, and there is too much room in the box, so they move around and hit each other and break or hit the box and break. The glasses are beautiful, however, so I went ahead and asked for a replacement, hoping and praying they arrive unbroken...but I won't hold my breath.

I would give these glasses five stars for their quality alone -- their colors are brilliant and the cut is amazing. Combined with Amazon's Customer Service Policy, I think they deserve even more praise.I bought these as a Christmas gift for my mom and was wary about how they'd arrive based on previous reviews. So when they were delivered on Christmas Eve, I opened the package to see if any of the glasses were broken. Sure enough, one glass (the beautiful, beautiful red one) was broken at the base. And here's where the experience takes a turn for the best.Rather than returning the package using Amazon's online forms, I called them directly and explained how the glasses arrived. The rep I spoke with explained that Amazon can't recieve broken glass at their facilities due to the safety of their team (which makes sense), so I could keep the original set and they'd ship me a free six-piece set as soon as possible. When the package arrived two days later (thanks, Prime!) all the glasses were in perfect condition. I can't say enough about how easy it was to work with Amazon -- and my mom gets to live happily ever after with 11 crysal glasses rather than the original six. It's a win, win, win all around.

When my merchandise arrived it was all broken due to the lack proper wrapping. The maker of these glasses had the best intations but lack the packaging skills. I would suggest that both the maker and Amazon take extra step in protecting the products that they sell. I suggest that Fragile Items be marked or label FRAGILE so that the handle can use precaution when deliverying merchandises to customers. I loved the product but was very upset when it arrived broken. I felt very sad that my holidays table preparation was not going very well. Mady

My set arrived Very Fast, all intact and Beautiful! Can't wait to use them with our guests! I love how they shimmer and show off the colors of the rainbow!

Bought on Amazon. First time order arrived in perfect, unbroken box but two of wine stems were broken off at the bowl. Reurned and tried again. Second replacement set arrived. Again, box perfect and unbroken, this time THREE stems broken off at the bowl. These are just as beautiful in person as in the picture and at a great price, but I gave up. Obviously the packaging is not sufficient for these delicate glasses. Pity, but don't bother. You will be disappointed unless packaging is vastly improved.
