I bought this because my feeder is close to a tree and branches. I didn’t want squirrels to be able to jump to my feeder. This one does the trick!! No squirrel so far has been able to get to my feeders! I’ve seen a couple bounce off though!Installation was a breeze, very well made and most important…. It works!

I needed this to protect my new video bird feeder I received for Christmas. This is very sturdy and does the trick to keep unwanted critters from getting to the feeder. It was easy to install as well. Well worth the money.

These are the best and strongest feeder baffle cones I've found. The first one worked so well, I ordered a second one. When installing I suggest you dry-fit it on your 4 x 4 post, then as needed pull and push on the metal ring so that it forms a symmetrical cone. Another tip is after you connect the two interlocking ends, lay the cone seam on bench or piece of 2 x 4 and gently hammer the interlocking seam flat (inner side of seam). I also drilled a hole near the top of the seam (part closest to post), and inserted a sheet metal screw to permanently lock it together (a pop rivet also works). The finish holds up well, fading is minimum, and the bird poop washes off easily.Update: Stopping RaccoonsUnfortunately raccoons can get past this baffle cone, however I found an inexpensive and relatively easy fix. A 5in. Diameter galvanized pipe fits perfectly over a 4x4 wood post. The are available at big box home building supply stores, and are available in various lengths. It's best to install the top of the pipe close to the inside top of the cone and the bottom can be 4-8 in. above the ground, you may need to cut the pipe to the length needed. The pipes come split open, fit it around the post and press the two seam edges together making sure they firmly snap and lock. I put 2 screws through the top to hold the pipe in place.

This product is saving the food for the birds! I tried using 4 slinkys but the squirrels kept climbing up the post. Now with this product the birds get the food! Thank you so much.

This is a wonderful product. It protected the baby birds in their nesting house from the squirrels, etc.

Pas d’écureuils aux mangeoires et il ne risque pas de bouger, grâce aux 4 clous qui le maintiennent solidement en place. La qualité semble très bonne. On verra comment il va passer l’hiver, mais jusqu’à présent nous sommes très satisfait et le recommandons.

So far so good. Haven’t had to replace my hummingbird feeder yet!

This baffle is very good quality, and best of all, it works! The reason it didn't rate a 5 is that it was somewhat difficult to make the join.

Worked perfectly!! Had a pesky squirrel that tried for 2 days after we installed it and he could not get up the post to our birdhouse, we were happy.
