bubba big straws 5ct of reusable straws (Assorted classic colors)

I was choosing between these straws and stainless steel ones also found on Amazon. The determining factor was these straws are soft and bendable, which means it won't poke you in the mouth or worse--teeth. I read a few reviews regarding people poking themselves hard with stainless steel reusable straws. Granted these silicone straws aren't as shiny, these are just as reusable and dishwasher cleanable.I use these for shakes and sodas. These fit nicely into aluminum soda can openings, but because of the girth of these straws, it takes just a slightly bit more effort to sip the last bit of soda from the bottom of the can. Washing these are effortless in the dishwasher. I put them in the bottom rack (they don't melt!) right side up in the silverware partition. They come out clean each time.So although these straws aren't as shiny as stainless steel reusable ones, they're just as durable and come in various fun colors so you know which cup/can is yours. The big plus is they won't hurt your teeth if you bump into them, and are slightly wider in girth so drinking shakes and smoothies are easy. The length is also perfect for fast food, tall soda cups. It may be hard to stick it through the opening of the cup lids, but the length is good.

I love these silicone straws. I purchased them for my Bubba 52 oz insulated cup, and they do fit perfectly, but I found they are awesome in regular glasses and soda/juice bottles, too. They are thick, soft, flexible silicone with a large bore. They bend so easily that the round shape conforms to the oval Bubba cup opening. They even fit the lid of my Starbucks cold cup with some coaxing. Their flexibility makes them the perfect straw to use when reclining or in bed. The hard plastic bendy straws do not compare whatsoever. These are washable, and the colors are just as vibrant as the picture.Since the bores are so large, fluid passes through quickly. If you or someone you love needs fluids but is not so enthusiastic about drinking at the moment (kids with juices or healthy drinks, the elderly, or like me who doesn't particularly like to drink water) these will get more fluids down easier and faster.

it made my Bubba Mug useful. I am disabled and in bed a lot. I bought the Bubba Mug so I would have enough ice water to last. I discovered tho, that when you tip it to drink while in bed, it pours a lot of very cold water down your front. Not cool, so to speak. I was using the mug to hold utensils, when I saw these straws. I was hesitant, but they are great. They have no taste, they are soft and flexible, will bend into any awkward position I am in. Not sure how long one will last, but it seems sturdy so far.*update*. 11/5/14. I still use all 5, and they are as good as new. The one in my water mug I wash when I wash mug, and occasionally float it in bleach water, just to be sure. I jumped on the smoothy bandwagon. The straws are awesome, wide enough for thick smoothies, easily rinsed clean. If you are researching straws, I recommend these.

These straws are big around and are a great drinking straw. These straws are between 9-1/2" to 10" tall. I am not sure how many ounces my glass is, but the straw is a little over 1-1/2" above the glass, which I find perfect for drinking.Cleaning is somewhat difficult because of the length. I rinse the out thoroughly with very hot watch, running the water through both ends. The whe it looks like the straw is getting dirty inside, I have some long q-tip straws, which I bought here on Amazon and I scrub the straws with soap from both ends and then rinse thoroughly to get soap and any loose debri out. I use 2 q-tips at a time because the straws are so big around.

I love straws and these are an absolutely perfect fit for my 52 ounce (and smaller) Bubba mugs and the colors match them, too. I have been using them for almost 2 years now, and only last week did the one I use daily become unusable (but that was MY fault, I'm mad at myself for it lol). Today I purchased another set (although I did get the Bold Color set because it's about half the price right now). As you can see, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.TIP: get a brush to clean them with and do so often. Bubba Brands sells one (I haven't tried it as I think it's a bit expensive) or find another in the right size. I use the  Extra-Long 16 Inch x 1/2 Inch Bottle Brush - Stiff Natural Boar's Hair  that costs less than $3 (I was concerned about the end being sharp, but I have had NO issues with it at all). I put a push pin in the wall next to the sink and just hang it on that.To wash, use hot tap water & soap. The hot water "loosens" the material a bit and makes using a cleaning brush much easier.

bubba straws are my favorite. they are a bendy. i like to chew or bite down on a straw when i drink from it.This makes them re usable and great to use for anything i want a straw for. i have 2 Bubba cups that they go into but i even use them with other cups. I would definitely recommend these to anyone they are a great quality product and i love the colors.

I love these! They're great. They fit great in my Yeti. They're flexible, so easy to drink when in bed, etc. They last a long time (I tend to chew them, so when they get worn I can just cut off a bit of the tip. My only reason for downgrading one star is because they are made in China...

I bought these straws to replace the straw that came with my Bubba 32 oz mug. I was worried from reviews that they would be different. I was pleasantly surprised that these are almost the exact same as the one that came with the mug. They are a hair shorter but not enough to make a difference. The colors are bright and vibrant. These were great replacement straws!
