Speedo Women's Water Shoe Surfknit Pro

Have had other brands during several years of regular kayaking here in FL. My shoe size is right in between 10 1/2 and 11. Went with 11 and fit is both secure and comfortable. Soles are thick enough to afford protection from things you don’t want to step on - hooks, lures, sharp shells, oyster beds - but not at all bulky or stiff. Very nice product and well worth the little bit more cost. Look nice too…

I used these as a replacement for much more expensive boat shoes whose sole had become dangerously slippery. They worked really well and were comfortable and solid on the deck.

Feels much more snug and solidly built compared to the previous surfknit model. I like the new soles, a bit thicker than before, but not so much that it ceases being a flat (flats are better for developing foot musculature i.e. arches, and all that other good foot stuff). for the old version, stuff like wood bits were able to piece through the soles, not these though, which is an improvement.

The shoes themselves seem to be high quality and I expect them to last a good while longer than other, cheaper water shoes, mainly all the other ones I could find for under $40 on Amazon and the $20 cheapos you get at walmart. And luckily these were on sale for $30 when I bought them.However the sizing has been a slight mess. I normally wear an 11 to 11.5 and the 11 size shoes were too snug on me. I then ordered a 12 but Amazon has sent me a 13... which is of course too big on me. I really do love the look and quality of these shoes though so I just re-ordered a 12 and hopefully they give me the right pair this time because that should be a perfect fit. If I get another 13 ima be salty and I'll be back here in a few days to let you know.EDIT: Welp it's a few days later and I'm salty. Got yet another size 13 instead of a 12 so I'm done giving Amazon a chance on this item. The official Speedo website is a lil pricier but they have 25% promo codes rn and hopefully know how to read so maybe, just maybe I'll get an actual size 12 one of these days soon. 4th times the charm.

I could tell they were high quality before I took them out of the box. I used and abused them on a float trip, came home washed them.. they look new again.Great value, grip and easy to clean.

Used these for paddle boarding. Really lightweight, super comfortable, and they feel durable.

like others have stated, the band around the opening is quite tight. I took some scissors and cut 2 small slits on either side of the tabs. Much better!

The opening where my husband tried to insert his foot was too small. He could not get it on his foot. The shoes look nice, but we are going to donate them since we can't use them.
