I wanted to make a vintage pin up poster with mod podge. This book was pretty for the job. The ads in it are also just hilarious from a ridiculous male centered time. So it also makes for a good coffee table book.

Nice collection of pinups art from days past. Just fun to peruse through and see what the times were like.This book was damaged on arrival. The back page or two somehow got folded in, and creased quite badly, and the hardcover corners are all smashed in. This is because it was incompetently packed. The box was bigger than the book, with nothing in it to cushion it or keep it from rattling around the box. This is at least the second book I've ordered from Amazon recently to have this happen. Seeming like a trend again, Amazon, cutting corners some more?Just beware ordering books, if you like to invest in and collect books, this a real issue. It seemed like for a good while the books I've ordered were all packed well. Now, over the past couple of months, anecdotally I can say this declined, now back to seeing less packing materials and loose books in larger boxes. It used to be a rare occurrence to have books packed improperly.

this is a good little compendium of images - especially if you are looking for a posing guide to shoot pin-up style photos.

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my BFF. We both appreciate pin-up art and lovely women. I bought this for her in the hopes she would enjoy it as a nightstand or coffee table book, to casually flip through when relaxing. I accompanied it with a pretty bookmark, so she could keep marked wherever she left off. She enjoyed the gift, glad this book made her smile. :-D

i first saw a copy of this book in a tattoo shop. i couldn't put it down while i was there. there's a lot of great artwork in this book. use it for reference or just for viewing pleasure. i'm probably going to take a few pages and frame them. this is quality stuff. real pin up art from the era when it was created.

I got the hard cover, it was smaller format than I expected at less than 6x8. With over 500 pages, its an ok price per page. Enjoying browsing through the various magazine covers and excerpts, none of which I had ever heard of. It was from an older time frame than I expected, was looking more for something like The Great American Pin-Up.

I recently ordered this pinup book and was pretty happy when it came in. It was the hardcover edition and it had a ton of nice pictures. I think this book was printed mostly in Europe so it was like finding a hidden treasure. It was a book I had never heard of but it was already published long before I had heard of it.
