The IDC-Powerharness is a high-quality dog harness manufactured in Europe from German materials. Suitable for home use as well as for working dogs. Main features: Reflective edges and chest strap: One of the most important functions of the IDC-Powerharness is that it works well as a visibility vest too. The grey line on the chest strap and the edges of the harness are made of reflective materials to help keep your dog visible even from a great distance, when out walking in the dark. Breathable, skin friendly inner lining: The anti-allergenic OEKO-TEX material is manufactured to the highest international standards. Scientifically proven comfort: a chest strap leaving the neck of the dog free. Heavy-duty buckles: The high-quality buckles of the IDC-Powerharnesses are thoroughly tested and checked. The buckles work perfectly during wintertime, and do not break even in frosty weather. Closable handle: With the new handle fixing option, you can fix only the steel ring, only the handle, both of them or of them. With these you can minimize the dog's chance of being stuck. It's really important especially for hunting dogs, search- and rescue dogs. Side bag attachment option: Side bags are available in 3L and 4L versions for Powerharness sizes 0 to 4. A smaller IDC Universal side bag is also available. With its 250 cm3 capacity, it is ideal for carrying documents, vaccination papers, cellphones and dog treats. It is essential for search and rescue dogs and service dogs working at night. Not Safe
I bought this harness because I have a shiba inu and we are still working on his recall. I read this was one of the best harness for shiba so I went ahead and got it.I checked the fit several times and followed the instructions carefully as I wanted to be sure my dog couldn't slip it.Used it for a little before he slipped it. Chased him all over for at least an hour. Exactly what I was trying to avoid. Luckily we got him back safe.Sent in for a refund and they kept $12.18. No explanation. Terrible unsafe harness and I didn't even get a full refund. Can't recommend this to anyone who is even slightly concerned about their dogs recall.

Just plain AWESOME! Love it!
This dog harness is awesome! I used to have to switch back and forth between various dog harnesses because the harnesses would tend to wear away the fur on my dog. So I got to thinking about service dog harnesses and those dogs have to wear their harnesses practically all the time. So for that you're going to have to think about the harness creating fur bare spots. So I checked out Julius-K9 because their harness is very similar to those used by service dogs. The harness works wonderfully! I haven't had a single issue with bare spots since and I don't ever have to switch back and forth between harnesses anymore. I just grab the Julius-K9 harness and put it on him and go. The only thing I have to say is that because his harness looks so much like a service dog collar, I always get questions about whether he's a service dog now or if his name is Julius. The print has started to wear off of the Velcro patches. I might just go to a print shop one day and have stickers printed up that fit the Velcro patch and put his name on the stickers. Then when the sticker wears out, on goes a new sticker! But great dog harness. Can't hardly beat it.

Purchased to implement in Therapy Dog training for future use a hospital visitation therapy dog.I specifically purchased this brand vest after seeing many dogs on a trip to Europe wearing the Julius brand prompting me to research it.Pros:Solid brand name, well madeReflective and safeNo choking, but secure leash loop = continued control of your animalVelcro loop installed, interchangeable patches, even custom optionsAdditional loops on the side of the handle that we use for a clip-on retractable leash for a quick grab if needed when off leash or for badge/tagsThe design stood out to me as it rides forward on the dog and doesn't cover the back (which might inhibit petting of the therapy dog)Love the colorCons:Reflective front chest strap is minimally adjustable (fits her just fine, but someone smaller might have a problem or need to trim the ends)No padding on the under strap where the shoulders move adjacent to the buckle (doesn't seem to chafe, just could improve comfort)No pockets on this model (but also means less bulky) - there is an attachment for saddle bags if desired.43lb petite Dalmatian female fits size 0 as projected with her 27 inch max girth around chest.

Very well made
I bought a harness from a different manufacturer that started breaking down within 2 weeks, which led me to this harness. Soon as I took it out of the package I could feel and see the difference. This one just feels sturdier and is much better constructed than the bad brand that cost just as much. My dog is in between a 0 and a 1, I bought the 1 and think I made the right choice even though the chest strap is as short as possible. My dog is both thick and lanky, but with a small chest and long frame weighing about 55lbs, so the 1 looks better than the 0 would have. Its bright and visible, sturdy, well made, good harness.

Amazing harness
This harness is very sturdy and stylish, and my dog loves it. If I pick up the harness he comes running and I've gotten lots of compliments from passerby on it. I really like the handle on top because I feel like I can have more control if I have to hold him back/still, and other people feel more secure. My dog isn't at all aggressive, but he can get excited about other dogs, and I feel that it makes other dog owners, especially those who say they don't want their dogs to interact with mine for whatever reason ("my dog isn't friendly", "my dog is anxious", etc) it makes them feel better. My dog is also very very anxious, so it's good for keeping him from backing away too far and pulling on the leash when we're waiting at a crowded intersection and I don't want him tripping people with his leash. I've never noticed my dog in any discomfort. The company that makes the harness makes harnesses for K9 dogs so it's good quality.

She likes it, ' nuff said.
Followed the instructions on fitting and it is spot-on. I could not be happier with this harness. The strap further down on her chest is fantastic. I always hated the harnesses that we're right up against her neck and choked her when she pulled forward. Fits her well enough that it is harder for her to back out, she's a little squirmer so she is good at getting out. So much easier to get her into this harness than others I have used. Cleaning is really easy. My favorite part of the harness so far has been the glow in the dark patches and the ability to buy other patches to switch out. Only harness I've ever seen her comfortable enough to take a nap!!!! So I guess she likes it and that's the most important part.

Wow! It just works!!
I have tried several collars and harnesses that have not even come close to keep my dog from pulling. He is only 35lbs but can pull like a large dog. This harness works like a charm. You need to make sure you measure the chest and order the correct size. It is very sturdy and very good looking on the dog. It even has side clips if you want to add bags to the harness. (some dogs really like to to tow the line). If you have a dog that chronically pulls, I would highly recommend trying this harness.

Do not buy for Daschunds
These harnesses are very well made and I have seen lots of dogs wearing them so I decided to purchase two of them for my Daschunds. Seeing as on the size guide there is a Daschund for reference on the size “mini mini” I was confident that these would be suitable for them. Obviously. However I do not believe these harnesses are okay for the shape of sausage dogs. I fitted the harnesses as per the video online and gave them a try for a week or so. After a little while my dogs where not keen to walk and I was very worried that there was something wrong with them. However, as I have got home I have realised that the buckle clip on the harness has actually dug into the arm of my dog and caused bleeding. Now, before anyone points the finger at me for not realising sooner - the harness doesn’t appear to be causing any discomfort at the beginning and I was only made aware due to the bleeding. So it must have been rubbing for quite some time before hand to cause a wound. Dogs can’t speak to you and explain if something is hurting and I am extremely careful to be gentle with them. I was not to know until the wound occurred. It didn’t even appear to be knocking when they walked. Daschunds elbow bones are quite pronounced and I don’t believe the placement of the buckle is at all suitable for them. I am absolutely devastated that these have caused pain to my pups and would absolutely NOT recommend these to Daschund owners.

... has managed to escape them - but this is fantastic, not only does it allow us to walk ...
Tried so many harnesses before & our dog has managed to escape them - but this is fantastic, not only does it allow us to walk a dog that's reactive (due to being attacked by 3 small dogs separately off lead) but the handle helps us to have added control with any situation that now arises when we meet another dog. Had given up walking my GSD until I saw this harness & now I'm confident when walking my dog in any situation so worth the price & 5*'s. He will always be reactive even after various types of training but he will always be able to have walks now. Highly recommend this product.

Great harness, would recomend.
My dog is what we call ‘free range’ he likes to be off lead and does not like wearing a harness. However, when he is outside of our home he needs one for his own safety to walk to park.We have started using the K9 harness recently and he really doesn’t seem to mind it. It’s very simple to put on him with no fuss, it was very easy to adjust to fit him. I think the best thing about this harness is it does not rub under the dogs legs like conventional harness’ do and there is much more adjustment for his neck floof.I would recomend! The handle is very useful for picking the dog up quickly and he doesn’t seem to mind. It has come in useful in one situation where a large dog was bothering him.
