What is the outside size of the base????

Update on April 11, 2021: We have optimized and upgraded the product. The base of the security light is standard 4-inch now, is more matchable for the standard 4-inch junction box.

Has anyone hung it upside down? I need to hang from my soffet.

Yes they can mount to a overhang, underneath it. The lights and the sensor can both rotate a lot. The only ones that are kind of restricted are the two sidelights. But it even shows in the manual that you can hang them underneath an overhang

Can the photocell that detects dusk be adjusted? Seems to only want to turn on in pitch black and not actual dusk.

If you remove the cover for the motion sensor there is a clear component, marked CDS on the board, that senses the light. It is not adjustable, but if you cover it with electrical tape it will sense it being dark 24/7. So any motion even during the bright of day will turn the lights on. This is not a dusk to dawn light as configured, but motion detecting during dusk to dawn and is not really stated as such on the description but probably inferred.

I know that the manufacturer claims the sensor range is 180% and up to 72 ft. Has anyone test it with that claim? Or just like others with max. 50 ft

ours is set at about 60 ft and it reaches easily.
