I tried to get it to work but couldn't figure them out. I sent them back.

Looked like a RETURNED that Somebody Else didn't want was sent to ME
I got the camera and noticed two things. 1. It was a bit dirty and 2. It looked like it was shoved into the box. I had an issue trying to set it up (even though I believe it was not a new camera) in a lamp with-in INCHES from my router to get the BEST connectivity to my Wifi router for initial set-up, but after reading ALL the instructions AND watching the video, it would NOT connect acceptably to the 5GHz Wifi. So after having issues with the camera, along with the unacceptable condition in which it was received, I contacted Amazon chat and started a RETURN. I wanted a camera that I did NOT have to run wiring or re-wire anything and with this just going in a socket like a light bulb. I do not care for the doorbell type or look of the video that I have seen from them...I wanted an easy set-up and useful camera with all the features this claims to have. I must say that I am Extremely Disappointed in this camera Especially the condition it was received in ALONG with the issues that it had/has. I Really Wanted to like this camera, but it fell short of subpar. I do NOT have 'too many' devices connected nor do I have issues with my other devices that are connected. My internet provider plan has more than what this should need and has more than what my other usual needs are, so I believe this camera (mostly the one I received) is the PROBLEM and NOT the internet Wifi. I can NOT comment on the features, so I won't because it would not be a 'fair' review. This was the only type of camera I was interested in due to its (supposedly) easy install & set-up.

Not the worst, not the best
Straight out of the box there were issues. The metal socket base was only slightly compression fit to the plastic housing, and came off while holding the camera in my hand. One of the power leads is soldered to the center of that socket while the other power lead is simply wedged between the metal threads and the plastic housing so if you aren't careful you can completely rip the leads off. The plastic housing is completely smooth so there is nothing for the threaded metal base to grab onto. I ended up having to superglue the two pieces together, but it's not ideal.Once the camera was installed in a socket and power applied it came right up and after a quick installation of the Tuya app it was online and working. The PTZ functions work, the picture looks fine in daytime conditions, and even the night vision looks fine. The functionality of the nightvision feature isn't great. Whether you have it set to Auto, IR, or Color mode, the camera still kicks on it's floodlight LEDs for a couple seconds every minute to make the color night vision work. Annoying. The motion detection can pick up motion, but in testing I found that a person walking at normal speed 10 feet away from the camera was moving too fast for the tracking to keep up. The person was half out of frame as the camera tried to catch up to them and never succeeded.Probably the worst thing about the camera is its lack of ability to be used on an external recording system or NVR. It is not ONVIF compliant nor does this particular make/model have an accessible RTSP stream. My intent was to stick it in an unused light socket in the corner of my garage and have my CCTV server record the stream. You can't do that though as the manufacturer went to great trouble to design it so that it will only work with the Tuya app.It is a Chinese made camera, with a Chinese made app, that make you set them up on your wireless network with Internet access, and they'll only work together. It's almost like the camera is simply a means to get you to give access to your wireless network to whoever is on the other end, using the camera as a wireless bridge. You can determine if you feel that is a security issue or not.The camera is a neat toy to play with for an hour or so, but its limitations don't make it a viable tool for use in your home security setup. There are a few of these types of cameras on Amazon that claim to be ONVIF compliant, or at least useable with camera server software, so I may try one of those and see if it will work as advertised.

Great idea that doesn't live up to expectations
Easy to follow instructions hence easy set up, clear video day time and night. Motion detection unacceptable lag time. After two months of use camera went off line for the first time while I was away on vacation. after four months camera will not connect to internet outside. This product is unreliable and not worth your money.

Advertised as 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz; I have 2.4/5 GHz and all it said was "trying to connect".
Camera is Advertised as 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz; I have 2.4/5 GHz and all it said was "trying to connect". I reset it many times as the instruction said but it never would connect even though I had it 2' from my router; however when I tried to do it manually as the pamphlet suggests and guess what the ONLY frequency I could pick was? 2.4 GHz!This is the same piece of crap camera you see advertised for as low as $19 on Facebook's Marketplace and the reason I bought this one was because the ones on Marketplace won't work on anything but 2.4 GHz so your phone has to be connected to the 2.4 GHz frequency for it to work. Since my phone is on the 5 GHz frequency (I can't change that, nor would I want too) that is why it never connected because it connect ONLY on the 2.4 GHz frequency, NO matter what they say!I would pay $1 for this camera now that I know what a piece of crap it is.Don't be fooled if the camera looks like the picture above it is from china and no matter what they say it will only work on 2.4 GHz.Now if All you use is 2.4 GHz you could probably be fine BUT buy it for $19 off marketplace because, in my opinion, they are all the same cameras, they just put different stickers on them to make you think they are different.

Stopped working the day after the return date closed. UPDATE
I was sent a new camera back in Feb. This camera has now also stopped working. I cant get any powere to it at all. This is the second camera that has only lasted a little over a month. I have had no problems with the same camera in my backyard but I would like it replaced again as this sis not a product that people buy so they have to keep replacing them. Please get back to me As Soon As PossibleI bought two of these cameras. At first they both worked great. I recieved them on Jan 11th. One stopped working last night, I can not reset it, it will not turn on I have tried everything and it is just not working. As I said one works fine so I know it is not something I am doing. It is a paperweight. I have noticed a few simaler reviews where the camera stops working. Save your time and money as this product does NOT do what it advertises. There is NO blaring alarm it makes a pretty quite alarm. The mic does not pick up sound clearly. I mean for the money while it worked it was just OK. They also claim to have 24/7 support, I'd like to know where that support is. Also the led.lights are not very bright you get better light from the flashlight on your cell phone. I hope someone at this company reads this and makes things right but I won't hold.my breath.

Motion activation doesn’t work like it should
It was a bit of a pain to set up, even more of a pain to share with another phone. Unless you both use the same login information. The motion activation does not seem to work as it should. Someone can walk right by, and it not pick it up.But yet a school bus out on the road it will pick up.I’ve contacted them, it’s I’m talking to a computer. Only offering solutions I have told them I have already done.I believe after reading the reviews that I will probably return this. What’s the since of having something, if it can’t pick up movement 10 fr in-front of it.

functionally its working fine as expected, but it often goes offline every4-5 days randomly
functionally its working fine as expected, but it often goes offline every week, then you need to turn off/on power physically manually many timesthis is a big stupid bug, need to be fixed. the challenge is it happens randomly.sometime it shows "retrieving video streams" in progress very very long time. this is performance issue.Tuya is a great camera app/platform but lots of functions are uncompleted. some functions/UI showing there, but useless - not working.not sure how can i find customer service and obtain normal solution or workaround. now i need to turn off and on power physically manually many times, then it can be fixed.added some more updates:on Feb 19 it's going offline almost every a couple minutes and be back online automatically after a couple of minutes, it really made me frustrated. the reliability is too low, and that also lower this camera's security.Note: my router is 2.5 meters away from the camera, and the camera is mounted on the ceiling of my porch
