Nothing not to like. It was a gift, I’ll be purchasing one for myself.

It is just about the right size for making soup noodles (wt 450g type). Instead of the paper cups the noodles come in, transfer everything into this cup, and though it doesn't have the water-mark like the paper cups, but adding water up to just below where the curve starts on the lip then the water level is about right! You'll need to play with the water level to your own liking. The upside is that you don't have to worry about the flimsy paper cups, and can hold it by the handle. The lid offers a perfect seal for "cooking" the noodles.

I have bought this product before. Corning has cheaped out on the lids. They used to be a flexible rubber like plastic. Now they are very hard and aren’t easy to put on. Already with just one use the lid is slightly damaged on the inside. Would not recommend this at all.

I ordered four of these which I just received. One was completely broken, and I am actually amazed that more weren't damaged in shipment. They are loosely packed in individual bubble wrap bags that are way too big and way too loose. Then the bags are simply put into an Amazon box and shipped where they obviously banged into each other.Anyway, the good news is that they are a nice size - to use for a big mug of coffee or for onion soup or to serve chilli, etc. Bigger than most of the handled soup bowls on Amazon. The mugs themselves are oven and microwave safe. The lids are too tight but work with a little effort. If you were to re-heat in a microwave - you might have trouble getting the lid off without burning yourself so will need to be careful. I might cut a slit into the edge of the lids so that they come off and on easier.Edit: Amazon sent a replacement without me needing to send the broken mug back. I just received it and this time it was packed really well. I've also had a chance to use one of these to reheat a bowl of chilli. It's a perfect size for this. The lid is very tight when cold - but after re-heating in the microwave, the heat really softens the lid so it comes off very easily. However, it does stain really easily. Overall, really like these.

The quality is obviously CorningWare! The walls are nice and thick, the handle is easy to grasp and feels good in your hands. The finish of the product is exemplary.This product heats easily in the microwave with the handle staying cool to touch, the lid is an added bonus to help stop spattering. It also retains its heat very well.I am impressed with the size as it holds an entire can of soup, with room for crackers at the top!I have bought two. I find them so easy to use and to clean. I plan to buy more.The only downside that I have found so far, is that the plastic lid does stain. I realize that all plastic does stain, so it is really only a small disturbance. I heated tomato rice soup in the container with the lid on, in the microwave and it is now stained red. This is no big deal! It works just as wonderfully so I will not even mark off a star for something this small.I really just love them!
