Tech Tips - Rubber - Black Diamond

You can't expect them to last like carbide. But i have found them to be tough for a weekend hiker. I think if i were to be long distance through hiker and may want to have a spare available. once the rubber does wear away there's still metal grippy tip. Nice and quite when approaching wildlife.

Definitely use these soft rubber tips for any sort of soft track that you may be walking on. However, if these are used on a hard surface such as concrete they will wear out very quickly.

They work perfectly. They’re a great substitute for the carbide tips to let me use the trekking poles in hard Ickes trails or concrete. I’m very pleased.

I bought these to put on my Black Diamond hiking poles. They screwed into the tip and are very secure. I would rather have them than the hard steel tips that came on my poles. Only time and use will show how durable they are.

Nice to have these tips so you can hike without your hiking poles making so much noise every time they come in contact with a rock.

Good tips for use on hard surfaces. Need a little wear-in to be grippy. They also allow safe pack-mounting of your poles without fear of jabbing yourself or your friends.

These tips were the exact replacement for my Black Diamond z-poles.

I recently bought a pair of Black Diamond Trail poles, which came without tips. Did some research and found these. They screw in easily though you will need two pairs of pliers to tighten them up. Transformed the walking. I do 21-25 mile day walks and multiday treks with 11kg+ backpacks and the poles themselves make a huge difference to my feet, legs, joints, traction & stability. The technical tips finish the job off - I really can't understand why they don't come fitted as standard. They seem strong and prevent the clank of metal on stone. Good service - came next day.

Replacement tips for my Black Diamond Z Poles. Look, feel & fit just like the originals. Reasonable indication they will last as long.

They work well and don't seem to be wearing excessively. Much more pleasant to walk on hard surfaces than the carbide tips, which are best for soft or icy conditions. Time will tell on how they last.
