Almost perfect! ~ RINGKE SLIM® (5 Star) and (Fusion 4) star reviews
Amazon treats these two cases as the same one for the purpose of review so I have both listed here.RINGKE SLIM® is the BEST case for the iPhone if you want the smallest package with the minimum protection! The kit does include a screen protector which I have not installed as I do not want to diminish touch experience. On the Plus side:When on the iPhone, its length is 1.4 mm less and the thickness is .1 mm less than the MacAlley. The width is nearly 1.5 mm thinner than the Ringke Fusion. The least bulky case I have found so far.Top and bottom exposed so most 30 pin to Lighting adapters should work.Side controls are easy to access.Texture feels like it will not slip out of my hand and slows it coming out of my shirt pocket yet will slide out when I take it out of my pocket.Pictures in the product image gallery show it does protect the phone. On the down side:Case wrap around just a bit short - If dropped just right top and bottom bevel, and power switch will impact surface - see the picture with notes in the Product Image Gallery, page 8, looks like on iphone staked on another. (I believe .5mm longer would take care of this)Solid back hides the beauty of the 5s.This the case of choice for my iPhone, at least until I drop it a time or two, but for now, if you like the dimensions of a naked iPhone, you will probably like this case on your phone.Case by case measurementsCase Length Width ThicknessApple Specs 123.8 58.6 7.6My specs 123.83 58.78 7.84 OK, my micrometer is not perfect, but it is for reference only.MacAlley 127.7 62.56 9.43iBlason 128.35 63.34 10.75Fusion 128.1 62.09 10.18Ringke Slim 126.31 60.60 9.3RINGKE FUSION - Great Case with minor shortcomingsThis is a case that it will protect the sides and back of your iPhone 5s from damage while keeping your screen off the table if you ever set it face down. The back plastic is clear so you can still see the back of the phone. Here is why I gave it a 4 star:It is 3/4 mm thicker and than the Macally RIM5B frame case. I like the how thin the iPhone 5s is so I did not want to add to its bulk in this dimension. It is also .4 mm longer than MacallyThere is a noticeable seam where the top bevel and sides meet. I like the smooth edge feel of the i-Blason Premium Bumper case or the Macally case. I suppose this could be a good thing if you want to know where the front side is in your pocket or in the dark.On the Plus side:This width of the iPhone is nearly 1/2 mm thinner with this case over the Macally case. The back of the phone is protected by the clear plastic back of the case. If you don't mind the extra thickness and lengths, this case provides a great deal of protection for your phone.

Inexpensive and good
I have been using the case for about two months now and I am generally satisfied with the product and would happily recommend it. But you need to align your expectations with the $10 price tag. What you will get:1. A well designed and manufactured product that does everything it should, to a point (more to follow). I chose a clear case that is as slim as it can be that doesn’t obscure the beauty of the phone or obstruct any features or functions—camera, buttons, connecter, etc.2. A case that fits the phone well—not too tight or too loose. The soft and flexible TPU “bumper” enhances the grip and provides cushioning from “light” impacts.3. A co-molded (A plastic molding process that fuses two materials together seamlessly.) hard plastic (Polycarbonate, or PC) back that shields the back of the phone and reinforces the phone to reduce the chance of structural damages (display is a different story) when dropped.4. A strap holder at the lower left corner that enables you to attach a wrist strap which is something the older cell phones used to have. I like it.But with the pros, there are some cons:1. As mentioned, the soft TPU bumper and hard Polycarbonate back are co-molded. It is visually pleasing because the joint line is hardly visible. But the joint line is often a weak line as well where if the case is under too much stress, the two materials could separate. But you don’t need to worry too much about it in normal use.2. As you should expect, the soft and thin TPU bumper provides only limited impact protection to the phone even if the case itself survives. I suspect that a “perfect” 3-foot (or higher) drop, at the corner, onto a hard surface such as concrete, the display will likely crack. If you anticipate frequent drops, you should consider buying cases that are more robust. They could cost 3 or 4 times as much, and bulky. You just need to pick your priority.3. Polycarbonate is strong and tough. It doesn’t break easily. But it is also a relatively “soft” plastic material, which means that it is easy to scratch. Fortunately the four corners at the bottom are slightly raised by the soft TPU. This will prevent or minimize the scratches to the back of the case as long as you don’t jam it with other hard objects in the pocket.I consider a $10 case sacrificial. If it provides good services for a year or longer, I am happy. I will just get a new one when it is beaten up. The reason it does not get 5 starts is that I think the description oversold its “Drop Protection/Shock Absorption” capability. With high impact, the case may survive, but your phone may not.

excellent protection
I keep my phone in my pocket with my sharp keys and I'm often using it in the workshop to take pictures of work so without a case my phone would be damaged pretty bad by now. Having bought this case though the phone sill looks brand new and thanks to the screen protector there are no scratches on the screen! One point about the screen protector, make sure you take off both layers of film that cover both sides of the protective plastic so that any air bubbles can escape (and they do disappear after a few days!) make sure you clean the screen really well before applying it though.RevisionThe case has lasted a year fairly well although the sides have started to come away from the backplate, it still stops impacts so I'm not too bothered-Revised 1 year after purchase

Review
This cover is brilliant!I've had two other cases before this one and I can honestly say this is the best! it's a little on the pricey side, I will openly admit, but it's better than a broken Iphone! The delivery was really quick and its packaged really, really well. so safe!It doesn't make your phone bulky (which was what I really hated about my other covers) and although it does get dusty every few weeks, its easy to remove and clean then pop back on the phone.I've dropped my phone a few times (a lot) and the cover has done it's jobs perfectly well. it's got a no scratch surface too, and it does work! All in all, I can honestly say, I'd recommend this cover to anyone who has an Iphone 5 and doesn't want to scratch and chip it like I have.

Buy one
Got this for my space grey 5s. I'm not a fan of cases on phones at all but this one is slim and comfortable in the hand. Still shows off the great design of the iPhone. Seems like it should protect phone. Has a good enough bumper to lay phone on surfaces and would like to think it would protect from a face down drop! The back is also good unlike other cases like this there's no rasied bumper which is uncomfortable in the hand instead you have all 4 corners raised slightly this should help to stop scratches on the back.Fast delivery good packaging. over all good case even though I hate cases if I was to recommend one it would be this!

Causes scratching the back of your phone!
The case lasted about a year before part of the edging started breaking away. Now I can flip about half the edging over the clear plastic backing. Not too bad I guess, it still fits and has survived a few drops and small children. So why one star? Well imagine driving a brand new sports car along a recently resurfaced road, and having all the loose chippings pinging up against the paintwork… well this is the biggest issue with the case: grains of dirt etc. get caught behind cover, between the phone and the case. As the phone jiggled about in a pocket, over time this has caused permanent scarring/scratching on the surface of the phone. My previous 4S was in mint condition upon trade-in - my 5S is currently looking far from it…

Not bad... when it finally arrived
Ordered on the 29th Jan, selected "free next day delivery" with my Prime account.... arrived 12th Feb.Contacted the retailer who gave me some rambling story of there being two options for shipping - either from Amazon in Europe or via DHL from the US via Germany..... mine had gone via the latter.I needed the case quickly, so ordered another case ( a Spigen case from a different supplier) which did come next day, so I've given this one away.Product seemed ok for the small amount of money it cost, but I suggest there are better to be chosen in this minefield of products on Amazon!
