Failed remote in less than a month

I purchased this remote on 8/31/19 and in 2 and half weeks it stopped working properly. Now only the power and mute buttons work. I tried contacting the sellers but I got no response for a replacement or anything. Stuck with a bad remote, unable to search or change channels, turn up or down the volume, set the menu options. Everything worked in the beginning, but now it doesn't function properly.
