So, here's my mixed review. After about 20 minutes with this thing initially, I hit "initiate return" and was ready to just be done with it. That's because the small plastic parts that clip together feel a little cheap right out of the box, and the instructions are "meh." Once I got the thing together, (which took about 30 minutes because one of my little plastic prongs was a tad bend), I put the headset on and tightened it as much as possible and started to play supernatural, (the whole point of getting this thing is to keep it more secure while doing the bounciest exercise games). For me personally, the headset is a little big, so even at its tightest it was still moving too much. BUT, then I had the idea to just put a small towel behind my head to take up some of the room. After doing that and readjusting the headset, I will say, it works WAY better than the original strap in terms of keeping the device steady while I'm moving around. So now I love it. If I'm just using it to watch videos or whatever, I don't need to add any padding or anything. Now that I have the thing figured out I actually think it is far more comfortable with the padding than the strap AND added bonus, for some reason the small gap of light down by my nose is gone (I guess it angles it slightly and creates a tighter fit with my face). So in general I would definitely recommend the product now, especially given that the price is not too bad, but I recommend that you watch some YouTube videos about product unboxing before you decide. I think it's a good stop gap solution until Oculus develops better (and probably more expensive) head gear for this toy.

Makes playing Oculus so much more comfortable

I bought the official Oculus Elite Strap and it broke in less than 10 days. I bought this one at the same time for our other Oculus and it has held up beautifully. It is also very comfortable. I am prone to migraines and this strap helped a lot.

This has made all the difference in the use of the Oculus. Much more stable and comfortable. A future upgrade suggestion might be to focus on sweat and how to deal with that. But, this should be purchased at the time of purchase for the Oculus itself.

Supports oculus quest well, balances oculus on head, easy off and on with adjustable dial. Slight difficulty with attachment on one side, just needed to use more strength, I was afraid I would break it.No problems since Christmas.

Our dog chewed up the original head strap and we needed a quick replacement. Fits my son’s head perfectly and doesn’t slip and slide around.

Best in investment for my oculus. When it comes to accessories. enough money I’ve wasted on other worthless pieces

My son uses this for his VR and it really helps to take the pressure off of holding the VR on his head.

Provides good support for the quest unlike original strap. Can feel the full quality is not there but the price reflects this. Works as it should and I'm happy with the product.
