First-class engineering - Not a knock off!
Let me address something about whether or not this might be a "fake" unit:I saw a few reviews about getting fake Tattik cases and called LunaTik directly about this issue. Here's what you need to know:1) There are other sellers using a similar seller name to the actual manufacturer; "LunaTik" with that exact spelling is the real deal.2) LunaTik always lists their EXACT model number for each of their listings. If the model number is not listed then it's not from LunaTik.3) The knock-off/fake units DO have radio/reception/GPS issues because they're using metal components in the case which block signal strength. The authentic Taktik does NOT use metal anywhere in the frame, only the case screws and anodized flip-cover.I just got my unit and everything from the product packaging to the quality of the unit engineering is first-rate! Even the enclosed assembly tool is metal, not plastic! And you get small cleaning cloth too! Wow.I couldn't be more impressed with the build, features and even the presentation of the retail box it ships in.Get one. Be happy.

Great case and even greater customer service.
After ordering, the seller got in contact with me about other color options and we agreed to change the order. After a slight mix up he they made sure that I recieved the right color and evenstayed in contact through the entire ordeal. Working in sales myself, it's nice to see others that take care of their customers so well. The case itself is great. Strong and effective. A bit larger than your average case, but well worth the extra gurth when you notice the quality. The gorilla glass face is also twice as responsive as my old ottorbox screen. Plus there isn't any annoying spots for dust to creep in through the outer case.

Puts otterbox to shame
I was using te otterbox armor series case prior to purchasing the Lunatik. The otterbox is possibly a more capable case (they claim you can drive over it and your iPhone will survive) but it was bulky, heavy, difficult to hear callers, difficult for people to hear me, and very utilitarian looking. The Lunatik case offers a far superior screen protector, and does not drown out sound going in or out. The smooth rubber "truss" slips easily in and out of your pocket and has a very nice feel to it. Reception for cellular and gps appears to be the same as my previous otterbox. The best thing about the Lunatik is that it's a very attractive case for the level of protection it provides. If I have any complaint, it's that the silent switch is easy to bump in your pocket. Lastly, I am not sure why so many reviews say this is fake. I did a lot of research before purchasing this item to determine what is genuine. This case came in real Lunatik packaging with warranty information and the Lunatik branded assembly screwdriver. Maybe a few people bought knockoffs and posted their review on the listing for the real items.

This case is really protective, but.....
Now this all started when I bought a $20 Aluminum knockoff version of this case to swap out with my OtterBox. I really like how sturdy it is and how well it protects the phone. But the Aluminum body really cuts the signal for WiFi and cell phone reception, plus it's really heavy. I mean you could use it as a weapon and take someone out, it's that heavy and sturdy. As heavy as it is, carrying it in my shirt or front pants pocket didn't work out so well, so I wanted a holster and started looking for one that would fit this beast, not knowing it was a knock off of something it took a lot of web surfing. I finally came across the authentic Tactic holster. That's when I found out it was a replica of the Lunatik Extreme Case for the iPhone 4. OK I ordered the holster for $50, so I was in and after a couple days the metal case I realizied it was causing signal issues. Now that I knew the real one was out there I started looking on the Lunatik site and realized the one I wanted was the Composite case and thought I'd go ahead and get the real Lunatik Taktik case instead (hey I'd already spent $50 for the holster - so I was commited already). Once the real case arrived i swapped it out with the Aluminum case and really liked how well it fit and how much lighter it was.But it has issues so let me tell you what I've found.Pros:- It's very protective & sturdy and seems to be Dust proof as claimed and water resistant (haven't tested it out though)- Should last forever OR as long as I have my iPhone 4- Looks really cool and is different than anything else out there.Cons:- It is really pricy. I paid full price, now 2 weeks later the price is about a 1/3 of the original $124.95.- It is realllllly big, even compared to the OtterBox Defender case and Lifeforce it's a lot wider and longer.- Doesn't come with a holster - you have to pay an extra $50 for it on top of the $125 for the case.- The touch screen is not very responsive around the edges and corners and even in the middle at times you have to press hard to get it to function. This could be because now you have two layers of Gorilla Glass 1 on th ephone and one on the case) not sure it that's it or not, but I took it back out, cleaned all surfaces and repositioning it several times and that hasn't helped. My OtterBox defender is very responsive with it's attached screen protector and seeme to be almost as protective.- A standard iPhone 4 charge cable is really hard to insert into the charging slot and then once it's charged it is hard to take out, I actually pulled the end off of one of my cables.- The Button that switches it from Mute and Normal is very easy to move back and forth. If it's in your shirt or pants pocket you'll feel your phone vibrate and then as it switches back again, you'll feel it again.- The case hexhead screws almost strip out when you tighten them down or maybe it's the tool itself that feels like it's going to strip out - The tool fits badly, you really have to jam it down into the screw head and hold it down when you turn it and it still slips as you turn it.- If I had to do it all over again, I'd have stayed with my OtterBox Defender, but now I'm going to use it until i replace my phone sometime down the road - as much as this cost I'm going to hang onto it as long it will still work. The Lunatik site doesn't really help with how to overcome any issues, just some FAQ's that say that's the way it is, live with it.

Armored car for your iphone...
I don't have insurance on my phone. I dropped it the other day and it bounced off the cement with hardly a scratch. The phone is encased in dense foam and the other plus is that the screen is covered with Gorilla Glass... Not cheap Otterbox plastic. Even thought this is a "cheap" case, I highly prefer it to any Otterbox I have ever owned. It's big and bulky, but your phone will be totally safe.
