Battery arrived within allotted shipping time frame and in good order. I was somewhat skeptical about whether or not it was the appropriate product because of another post on Amazon and the fact that the specs were not exactly the same as the original battery but, after a call to the dealer, I was assured this was the appropriate replacement with enhanced power. Following the initial charge, I installed the battery in my Panasonic DMC-FZ28 and it clicked into place perfectly. So far, it's holding a charge and the camera operates perfectly. The icing on the cake is that I saved a bundle over purchasing it elsewhere, just $13.95, including S&H. The battery lists for something like $39 and most online sources are selling it between $20-25, or more. I would definitely recommend using this Amazon source in the future.

I got my DMC-FZ28 in 2008 when it was first introduced and it has done very well for me. However, after 5 years I was not surprised that I needed a new battery as the original one was not holding the charge very well. I could not find a Panasonic replacement so I went with this one I saw on Amazon.This battery absolutely works in my camera. No problems at all. It holds a good charge like a new battery should and I got it quickly at an excellent price. What more could you ask for?

I "unearthed" my perfectly good old camera to give to my grandson, who is just getting into photography. Of course, after all these years its original battery would no longer hold a charge, but replacing it with the OEM was quite $$$$$$! I was hesitant to go with an "off-brand," BUT ... it fits perfectly and it works. Yay!(I gave it 5 stars for battery life and longevity, but I haven't used it long enough to really make that determination.)

There's nothing sexy about a battery. Well, depends on what you find it in, I guess, but not a camera battery. It's a bit of a tight fit as some other reviewers have noted, but it works like a charm, nonetheless. Brought my old camera ripping and snorting back to life.Recommended.
