Excellent product and customer service
I have a commercial plant nursery and we have the big tank sprayers but sometimes we need a little spot treatment here or there and this hose end works well. I’ve used all the cheap brands and have found nothing that works like this does. So yes, it’s expensive but I have spent over $300 on hose ends that keep breaking. This just feels good and sturdy. The small plastic emitter broke off in the sprayer because I tightened it a little too much and they were helpful in not only giving me a a video on how to get it out but sent me two complimentary emitters. Excellent customer service and product. So far its been well worth the money.

So far so good.
I like to use a lot of liquid fertilizer on my lawn, so I needed this. Have only used it 2 times, so we will see how it goes. The sprayer did not have as much water pressure as I anticipated, but was fair. The sprayer took up the liquid fertilizer as indicated in the instructions. No problems, yet.

Disappointed
The Dram nozzle is a cast molded product that leaked . I contacted Blue Mule & spoke with Paul to discuss the issue. A machined nozzle such as Eley would be of the quality you would expect . I plan to return this sprayer. Not the quality I was expecting.

If you are looking for top quality and a well ...
If you are looking for top quality and a well built sprayer, this fills the bill. The craftsmanship and stainless steel components make this a tool that will last a long time. Different metering tips allow you to obtain the correct dilution ratio from 526:1 ato 5:1. Theres a quick disconnect that will allow you to fill the 22 oz bottle with ease. I used it to apply wet and forget to rid my house of mold, mildew and stains.

Don’t let the price run you off...
I have had one hose end sprayer for about 20+ years. I think it was ortho brand and I never gave 2 seconds thought about it - it just worked. Unfortunately some of the seals finally gave out and so I went to amazon and bought a Chapin - opened the box and the black plastic where the bottle screws on was broken. Returned it my new one showed up and hooked it up and I sprayed a small 6000 sf portion of my front yard - at the end of 30 minutes I think I was wetter than the grass. That night I went to the internet in search of what for so many years I had absolutely taken for granted.I came across blue mule and almost fainted at the price. I kept looking and found really nothing else that I felt like improved on my disaster so far. I read the blue mule website and finally gave in and bought it direct (at that time I didn’t realize they were available through amazon). After using it several times to spray an acre I can tell you that this is the greatest sprayer made. The down side of my old sprayer was that u used dilution to manage rate of flow. This sprayer uses plastic fittings to adjust flow, the one downside of this (for me) is that the tips are color coded and since I am color blind my wife sorted them and I placed them in 1x1 zip loc bags with the rate written. I will not hold this against blue mule but if they put a number or symbol on the mold it would be awesome. I have to say the Chapin experience caused me to be skeptical of all hose end sprayers which caused me to wear shorts and water shoes the first time in case I got another bath.I will say that deciding which tip to use seemed daunting at first and I just tried one of the lower end ones at first. Then measured the area of a side to side movement in my case about 21 sq ft- them adapted how fast I wanted to move and worked from there. If I want to 21 sf in x number of seconds what flow rate/minute do I need to achieve 1 oz/1000 sq ft. That may seem complicated now but trust me when it’s in your hand it is much less so.I was really impressed with the quality of the blue mule instructions and attention to detail. Even plastic tip wrench is included along with a business card size flow rate tip chart. Clearly this product is made by people who use/used hose end sprayers rather than designed by someone told to do so. A complete line of repair parts is available from blue mule including color coated bottles which I will probably buy in the spring so that poison and fertilizer never goes in the same container.Well done blue mule!

Very Simple Calibration!
I bought straight from Blue Mule for the same price and 2 day delivery. I thought the calibration looked complicated. Not! After Paul explained the calibration to me, it was easy! I started with filling the seamless, smooth neck container to 32 oz., chose a tip to see if I could spray my 4,000 sq. ft. at My pace and empty the container exactly when I covered that given space. With that known, you can change the metering tips to exactly your pace. Once you've determined your pace, choose your meter, pour your fertilizer oz. to sq. ft. you will need to the desired sq. footage. Fill container with water, dilute to 32 oz, and you will safely spray the proper amount to that desired sq. footage. I will likely be using the same metering tip for every area I spray now. This unit is of the Highest Quality, and if you ran over it with a truck, or broke it somehow, you can buy every single part that you broke, if needed. This will be my Last Hose End Sprayer! If you can, just end the frustrastion of buying junk sprayers. I've had them all. Customer Service Is Excellent!

Used for disinfecting animal runs, barn stalls, trailers, and veterinary operating rooms.
I have used these sprayers for years! They are plastic and over time depending on chemical(s) used the holding container can become brittle (chemical oxidation with certain chlorides/ines). On that note it would be nice to be able to purchase just the concentration container separately. The stainless steel parts are of good grade and interchangeable to different spray handles should you drop and break the spray handle. The metering and inability to tamper (by personnel/staff) with metering based on meter nozzle selected ensures proper/accurate spray dilution for concentrate utilized.
