This Hair/Skin Oil Is As Pure As It Gets! Absolutly Wonderful!!!
My girlfriend and I have recently tried an assortment of skin and hair oils just to experiment in attaining softer skin and hair (such as Jojoba Oil, Moroccan Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Fur Oil and VERB Ghost Oil to name only a few!) and I must state this oil is probably the purest, most natural oil we've tried so far (although the others mentioned above are wonderful as well) yet Darshana Natural Indian Hair Oil seems to be in a class of it's own. Make sure you use only a few drops when you apply it as the oil is so pure it leaves your hair silky smooth, like silky soft fur.. Literally, like soft, velvety fur!! It's that concentrated with nutrients so use it sparingly!! First of all, it has a wonderful citrus scent, like grapefruit (Fur Oil has a lemon scent) and it leaves the hair on your head or.. the hair "down there" ie pubic hair extremely soft!! The oil itself is a medium thick oil, on the level of Vitamin E-Oil. Actually, my girlfriend and I apply the above mentioned oils (and a few more, very sparingly) after our nightly warm bath and cool shower. We apply these various oils all over each other making sure not to "over apply" as it can be quite fun working these oils into each other's bodies!! We use Jojoba Oil last as it absorbs very quickly although it dries fast and we retain the moisture benefits (of all these oils) the following day even after our morning shower! Now, Darshana Natural Indian Hair Oil really is a "miracle oil" in that it is so concentrated and pure that it leaves your hair, as stated above, feeling truly silky and soft.. We rub a few drops "here and there" over our bodies as a natural skin moisturizer as it feels and smells truly wonderful! This Oil Is Amazing!! It's Pure Magic!! Read the ingredients on the bottle or here in Amazon.. You're truly getting the best of all worlds when it comes to hair and body oil.. The combination of various oils in this blend is awesome!! It's main function is to soften and condition your hair and in this capacity we feel it doesn't get any better!! We ordered the smaller bottle and I'm about to order for us, the larger bottle thru Amazon. Though a bit pricy, ($38 for the larger 6 ounce bottle) it's definitely worth it! Give it a try.. You'll absolutely love it! Again.. We Do!!! 8/14/18 Update: After posting my review yesterday (8/13/18) I immediately ordered the larger 6 ounce bottle.. This hair oil is nothing short of amazing! Reminder: My girlfriend and I use this oil on our hair as well as a body oil which we apply sparingly all over.. We Love It!! Remember, it's very pure and concentrated so just use a few drops here and there. It does absorb quickly although initially it'll appear greasy (it's not) only because of how 'rich" in nutrients it is. Enjoy!!

Great product
It smells good leaves my hair hydrated and I'm noticing my baby hair is starting to grow healthy and doesn't look dull. I've been using it for my hands also and noticed my nails are growing faster than usual, probably due to the oil. I haven't really changed anything in my diet or products.

Restored Hair to Younger Age
I am half Latina. I used to have long, silky, beautiful dark brown hair. In my later thirties I noticed it was thinning out and in my early forties it started to seem more dry and brittle. Also, I have grey hairs sticking out in the front. I've decided, for now, not to dye my hair.A friend of mine at work was doing my hair for a Halloween costume. She is Indian and besides being fairly beautiful, she has the most amazing hair I possibly have ever seen up close. She told me I needed Indian hair oil and to get it at a local indian market I knew of. However since I do most my shopping on Amazon I decided to buy this online.I was happy to find Darshana and even though it was more expensive than I anticipated, I appreciated the multiple natural ingredients and ordered the smaller sampler bottle. When it arrived it had my name on a tag and a hand written note which I thought was fairly exceptional. But my favorite part was when I opened it up and smelled the product. I am fairly sensitive to smell and dislike most of the world's most expensive and famous perfumes and the smell (citrusy is how I would describe it) was extremely appealing. Which is good because I put it on my head the first night and slept with the oil in.The next day I rinsed the oil out. I didn't do a great job rinsing out the underneath part but it was good enough to style and not go back into the shower. The first thing I noticed after I brushed my hair was the natural curl the oil encouraged. I didn't have to "scrunch" my hair to make curls (and thus my hair was less frizzy and the curls stayed in tact and didn't separate out). Also, my hair was a darker color. It was my exact color but just richer like it used to be. And the best part, the crazy grew hairs were tame and less obvious. I went to work with wet hair and it dried nicely. It looked different than I was used to, less full and more ringlets but it was a look I liked.Over the course of the next few days as the oil washed out I switched to styling my hair straight. This also looked amazing, I could not believe the depth of color, the lack of crazy grey hairs and the softness. My friend told me to use it twice a week. The second time I used the product for about 45 minutes and I personally got the same result, which is nice b/c I can put the oil in my hair when I wake up and enjoy the aroma and then wash it out and style it afterwards. The bottle itself (the 2fl. oz bottle) will last me (with shoulder length hair) I would estimate 10 times, I'm not quite sure yet, I'll try to remember and update this post with that information. I'll probably buy the bigger bottle next time after asking the seller if it keeps well b/c I think it will last a while.I think overall I am just amazed with the idea of hair oil however now that I've tried Darshana I don't think I can try another brand/smell anytime soon. Of course now I want to send it to all my friends for Christmas!P.S. This is my husband's account. I don't think I've written a review before though I buy hundreds of items a year. I thought this product was worth my time.

Reserving judgement
I am not sure yet about this hair oil. I am new to using hair oils but recently started since my hair went through some sort of shock this winter and became very dry, was falling out and thinning very badly and was unmanageable.I have been able to stop the fall out and thinning with some added Hair Flair supplementation that is still working well. But my dryness persisted. This is helping to add shine and luster and softness and seems only slightly better. I am reserving judgement for now. One thing this oil doesn't indicate is that it can be used as a finishing oil,. It recommends to use 15 minutes before shampooing or overnight. I do it overnight since I don't typically have 15 minutes to give before shampooing. It doesn't seem overly greasy or heavy so that is good, but it is an oil so it will look like you have oil in your hair- not a finish oil, though.

The oil smells very nice. you receive a personal note that go into ...
I mix this with redken oil and use it as a leave in. this leaves my hair very soft and shiny. Please note I have natural hair that is just above my bra strap so i do not have a problem with my hair becoming oily. The oil smells very nice. you receive a personal note that go into detail about the product-i am always a fan of good customer service. while it is a little pricey i find that it is a good product that I would more than likely purchase again.I would have given the product five stars however I have not had a chance to use it by itself as directed.
