I’ve tried a number of compost bins, and this one is by far the best for my needs. It looks good and keeps the food waste covered, but pops open (and stays open) at the touch of a button. It’s big enough to hold the waste for at least a day for my family, but not so big I’m tempted to let rotting food fester while I wait for it to fill. And the interior plastic bin has a lip and space to make it easy to remove. Once out, it fits comfortably in my hand, which is important since there’s no handle. The lack of a handle is actually a design plus; my previous bin had one, and it would get in the way and covered with ick when I dumped out the waste. I’ve thrown it in the top rack of the dishwasher multiple times, where it fits well and its’s holding up well.

Very nice on my counter top and just press the push the top and it open nice and neat. Now I don't need to worry about the little fruit flys.

This is a great little countertop compost bin. It doesn’t take up too much space, love the convenience of the push button to open. Using it with compost friendly liners, easy to clean.

The push button lid is a very nice feature when your hands are full. This is a great product, it gets 4 stars only because I wish it was easier to clean the inside of crumbs and such.

Our city just started to compost food and I was very concerned about the smell. This product is not very big it fits on the counter and I'm not sure if it's the container or the bags or the combination but it locks when you close it and I do not smell anything.

The item is a good size for the countertop and looks like the image. It also keeps odors in and stays fairly clean when used with a compost bag. However, the lid often sticks when you push the button. This makes it difficult to open, especially so when your hands are full of scraps you want to put inside. So, I gave three stars for quality.

I'm very happy with my new food waste bin. It's attractive and handy. It's easy to use.
