Long lasting and true to size.

Normally, I am a 7.5 in shoes. However with boots like this I always go for an 8 to have extra room for socks and pants to go tucked inside them. With this boot, I got my normal 8 and it was noticeably tight around the sides of my foot. The top area felt fine, where pants would be tucked in) but the actual shoe bed felt much narrower and snug than usual for a size 8.Because of that original fit I exchanged for a size 8.5 and am now perfectly happy with the fit. I am not sure if the fit issues are because of the patent leather. I suspect the patent leather has no give and makes it necessary to size up.Other than this fit issue the boots are crisp and very modern looking. They are a little stiff but I expect this with boots and have felt them get broken in slowly just from walking around my house in them.

Love these. They are very comfortable, and look great. Lots of compliments. Only given four stars because it is possible that the metallic finish on them could wear off. I can already see some wear on that part. They still look great, it is just that the finish is not quite as bright after wearing them about 5 times already. These are not really the type of shoes I plan on wearing for years to come anyway. I thought they would be a great boot for the season. They are worth the money to me anyway. If you are planning a long term relationship with a pair of boots they probably are not for you. They are great for a fall/winter fling.

This boot is very VERY cute on. It is also quite comfortable, although I added a padded insert for cush (my 40+ year old feet are tempermental at best). The fact that these are made of man made materials makes me wanna dance, being against anything made of real leather.The durability of these boots remains to be seen. I don't think I'll be wearing them when I know it will be raining because I'm not sure how well they will handle getting wet. They are light weight, so I was able to wear them with a short dress in South Louisiana in spring. I can get away with them on a summer day, only if I know I'll be in the A/C most of the time.These boots are true to size, if a tiny bit large. I usually wear a 10. I ordered a 10 and had just enough room for inserts.I really love these boots. I bought another pair in black, which are equally cute.

I've been looking for some versatile combat boots for weeks -- I wanted Steve Madden's Troopa but at $99/pair they were outside of my price range. I finally bought these after initially purchasing and returning an off-brand cheaper version that were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and cheap-looking.I am THRILLED with these boots! They're comfortable, and look great over jeans, leggings, or even paired with skirts and dresses. I will say that they run a little narrow. I usually wear size 8 or 8.5, but the 8.5s were narrow on my feet to the point of being painful, so I went up to a size 9. If you have narrow feet they will run true to size.I don't plan on going hiking or trekking through deep snow in these as I don't think they'd last through it. But they will be great for going out or going to work through the fall, winter, and spring :)

These boots are cute, casual and practical. They seem to fit me true to size (I'm a size 9 with narrow feet). Be aware that they are quite stiff when you first wear them (which is normal for new boots). I wore them with thick socks the first time so they wouldn't rub against my feet. I've been wearing them a couple weeks now and they have already broken in to mold to the shape of my feet and are now very comfortable. Highly recommended if you're a fan of this style. The material is vegan friendly and seems tough enough to endure rain/weather conditions. Definitely great for wearing in the fall. They also fit well over skinny jeans/leggings. (I got them in Khaki and am fond of the natural appearance of them).

I ordered a size nine, which is usually a little big on me, and these fit like they were tailor made for my foot. I have NO growing room in the toes, but that's not a problem for me -- I like a snug fit, but if I didn't I'd have returned them and gotten a size larger.The soles are nice and hard, so I feel like I'm walking around barefoot all day, and they give a nice click when I'm walking -- almost like wearing heels. The toes of the shoe are already a little scuffed up, but I've worn then pretty much nonstop since they arrived. So far they're absolutely worth the money.

I'm giving these boots 5 stars because they are an excellent value for the price. The soles are much sturdier than I expected. The boots also look exactly like the picture. I was able to wear them for a long period of time the first time I wore them without experiencing any discomfort whatsoever. I typically wear a size 8, but I ordered a size 8.5 so that I could wear heavier socks, and they fit perfectly, especially for my very narrow foot. My only negative is that the manmade material for the upper part of the boot is a little cheaply made, but again, I expected this quality when I paid such a low price and am not disappointed!
